Fair enough but we must look to the future, Bart is not going to cut the mustard, he has had his chances, and not does not even make the bench. When he (Bart) first tuned up, he was a revelation, then after the debacle of the playoffs, he never seemed to regain his confidence, shame as he certainly did have potential.

Thats my thinking too, been eyeing up the lad for a while now, he is all that.

I must admit, on the way to work this morning, I had my first thoughts about Adkins not being up to it. The site is running slow for me to. I run a web company and it appears like the server is full or needs a reboot. If not, its probably an issue with the servers connection to the internet. It will clear in time.

Ok, so say you could be given the option that we would go up via the playoffs or turn that down and go for winning the league, which one would you take? For me I would prefer to take the risk to stay and fight, win the league and go up champions and carry that momentum on rather than the guarantee of going up third with the likelihood of coming straight back down again.

I like that strong at the back, less possession in the middle but strong on the break.

Thanks for all your comments chaps. I like the idea of the top perm teams going off into their own Euro league where Sky can rape and pillage there customers financially. For me, I would like to see NA, NC and the current saints squad emulate the mid 70's success of LMac. Promotion and then a FA cup victory would be the icing on the cake. I could then buy a new mug as m1976 one is looking a bit tatty now!

Ok, you cant deny it, Saints are on the up. They have surged through the tables and even I, the most pessimistic Saints fan ever (been there, seen it all before) have to agree that promotion to the promised land is a reality this season. Its no secret that NC is aiming for top 6 Prem, and European involvement. I dont want this post to be seen as a downer, but where do you all see the peak....the point were the club stops surging forward, and the only way is down. For me, I will never moan about Prem mid table mediocrity again, after all the turbulent times of the past 5 years, I look forward to the comfort of this.
