Knowing Mike as I do. I know he has relatives and close freinds that live in Millbrook and anything said about Thornhill would have been all in Jest and not meant with any malice.People are intitled to their opions about wether Mike is funny or not but the bottom line is he has made a very good living out of his chosen career and donr may TV and Radio shows in his 30 plus years as being a proffesional entertainer. Mike is a well sort after After Dinner Speaker and he is on the Corprate rung of that ladder,in fact prety much one of the best at that field in the country and so when he was doing the pre-match entertainment at St Marys he could never work on a Saturday night because he was at St Marys thus stopping him earning a good wage doing after dinner speaking o a Saturday night. Did the players get paid,did the stewards get paid,did the catering staff get paid,did the police get paid,did the staff at the club get paid. I think somebody with charisma of Di Canio would be an asset to the club and also would attract better players to the club who would love to work with him.

What about if he was offered a coaching role here? Not out of the realms of possibility what with Cortese's Italian influence.

You are so right. Before we would have bottled a couple of those games. We have been so consistent this season. On current stats we are in second place in the league for home points gained and second place for points gained away from St Marys. Brighton are top for most points gained at home and third for points gained away from Withdean.

how many season tickets do you think we will sell. I think I'm right in saying last seson when Norwich were promoted they shifted 25,000 before the season started. Now if we signed a couple of high profile players before they went on sale maybe we could get near that figure as well. Would be great to have near full houses in the Championship every home game. I'm sure the crowds at Carrow Road have been a big infulence on some of the late goals Norwich have scored this season.

watched the Brighton extended highlights on Saints player and he got the ball in the Brighton box and three players converged on him and in an instant he shifted the ball to his right foot and the all 3 Brighton players were taken out of closing him down and he got his shot away and a Brighton player managed to get his head in the way and stop the ball from going into the top right hand corner of the net.Would love to see him turn it on today and he is due a goal or 2.

I was having a conversation with my brother yesterday about how good Adam Lallana is. We both agreed that we have never seen a player similar to his style either playing for Saints or playing for anyone else.

I was one of the 15,000 at Orient that night and wish we had the same amount today at Brentford and also at Plymouth. One thing for sure we will have 32,000 hopefully celebrating promotion next Saturday at home to Walsall. Now that will be a day to remember. COYRS!
