I heard the wee one wanted a year out.

A strong rumour that he had applied for the Watford job earlier this summer.

If we were in the prem now with the backing of ML what quality of current players do you think we would be looking at. Hopefully only 2 years away.

He was and thought that right up to the last minute that they had secured the bid. He has a wealth of info on all the teams and players in our league and if the Worldwide Finance group from South Africa had been successful he knew exactly the players they wanted to sign. He's a fantastic scout and would be a massive asset to Saints. My only worry is now his bid has failed he will go back to working with Nigel Pearson.

If I was in control the person I would speak to immediately is Gordon Watson. He has a dossier on every club and player in our league and has already identified players needed to strengthen our squad. Remember he was at Leicester last season with Pearson and look how well they did.

I am so happy for my two boys 22 & 20 I have witnessed fantastic times with Saints most of my life and the thought that they would miss out in their twentys having exciting times with Saints upset me to say the least. I felt like they had been cheated and I was feeling guilty. Now thanks to ML I know that what I witnessed with Saints over the last 40 odd years will be eclipsed and we will see Saints challenging for honours on a regular basis and also we will never have to sell our star players for survival. Oh happy days:)

Sorry if this has already been reported but Solent have just said that ML will make funds for buying players this week. Still can't believe we are so rich!

In defence of AO the last time he was employed at the club there was a lot of unrest so would not of been happy times or a good working enviroment for anyone.
