We feel down because we didnt win today and obviously the Championship has gone, but come next Saturday, whatever WHU result on Monday (come on Nigel do us a small favour) with the place full and bouncing we'll all believe again!! I was also there on that fateful day in 2005. I sat and watched the decline of this fabulous club over the next few years until the coming of Saint Markus. And now is the time for us to take hold of our own destiny. 3 generations of the family will be there on Saturday and I cant wait for my 79 year old dad to be there to see the Saints back where we all believe we belong. Come on Saints, we all know the Southampton way is the hard way but now is the time!! COYR

Martin is definately a great prospect for development and will gain in confidence when NA gives him more games. Needs to play on the right side of centre though as he has no left foot at all. Meant he kept turning back inside on Tuesday night and had to keep playing it back to Kelvin

A good up and coming manager taking over a quality squad that just needs some back up for injuries etc. Has managed and succeeded at this level. All the makings of a good replacement. Now it looks like we can stop the guessing games and give him a chance. Lets stop the whinging, get behind NA and the team starting with Saturday at Swinedon. COYS WIFM

What ever anybody says about players being professionals and have to brush it off and get on with it (me being one until last night) we were wrong!! That was a team that looked like they had lost a leader and didnt know what to do without him! Lambert's body language told the whole story on its own. Scheiderlin was anonymous and the defence looked like strangers half the time. The only plus side was Chamberlain who looks better every time he plays. Where we go from here who knows but there needs to be decisions made quickly before the slide continues. Whats done is done but NC needs to put a new leader in place quickly, a leader who will galvinise the team again to take this once proud club forward again. Choose wisely NC or we will be still sat here in 12 months time thinking what could have been. Having said that we need to get behind the TEAM Saturday and make sure we get a win. COYS

Still stunned this morning. In little over a year Markus you have become a legend at this club and will never be forgotten. You saved our club from oblivion and set about making us great again. Your obvious love for the club and the enjoyment you got from it was never more clearly seen than at Wembley. I'm glad we gave you that one small memory to take with you to share with Ted. Look down on us with pride as we look to turn your dream into a reality and climb back to the top. Our deepest condolences to the all family and friends at this sad time. Indeed he felt like one of our own and we have all lost a great man. RIP Markus, thank you.

AP is just saying that the crowd have been brilliant this season, home and away, and they give the team that little bit extra. So keep it going as next season even more teams will park the bus in front of their goal and look to frustrate us and try to quiet the crowd. Today, the first 20 mins especially, from the Northam was brill. Champions 2011, bring it on!
