Could be, out of contract players, have been offered new contracts
-
Having done it at Plymouth for the first time, I know how hard it is, but good luck to anyone who tries, if you are sensible and respect those around you, you shouldnt have a problem

Stand up for Markus, followed by Walking in a Leibherr wonderland/One Markus Leibherr

Was also in the Pink at the weekend - Don't normally read all Dan's articles but I did on Sunday and although very sad, well written certainly something Im sure we can all relate to

I can see Bartosz coming on for the last 20 mins if its comfortable, been a model pro sitting on the bench week in week out, and can see Nigel rewarding him with an appearance. Can also see him giving Lee Holmes and Forte run outs whether from the off or off the bench

If Pahars is there.. Ill be there ;-) -
Still not sure if he was Saints fan or Exeter, we were 5 rows behind him in the Lyndhurst stand, and at first all the talk from around us was he was a Exeter fan, the police saw everyone rushing towards him but didnt act quick enough.. wasnt the easiest to stay quiet for 90 mnutes but we wouldnt have missed it for the world, just a case of respecting the plymouth fans and not goading them by celebrating when we scored... Awesome day though and Saints fans in that away end - kept looking across dying to be in amongst you but you were superb! Bring on the party next Saturday

Tried voting when that first appeared, but email bounced back. My sister voted today and got a postmaster failure email back as well as 'Thank you for voting' email Just sent one myself and same thing happened with mine.. could be high voting count as people who receive the failure email will vote more times thinking their votes hasnt be counted!

Nigel Adkins team talk.. Wouldnt have needed to say anymore! http://c0013739.cdn1.cloudfiles.rackspacecloud.com/x2_5ab93e5

Loved that! Seems they also had a dig on the Match day programme about NA's comments

Does each League 1 player put down his choice for best keeper, best 4 defenders, best 4 midfielders and best 2 strikers they have seen? Is this how it is selected as such? and is the vote still done at Christmas time??

http://www.griffinpark.org/forums/showthread.php?t=89977 Need to Register for their forum.. quite funny how they have a bit of a chip on their shoulder -Um Pahars sets out the facts in the Away Forum on here regarding the cup game back in 2005
-
Seems they will be announced this week - according to their forum, once the police had had their say they will release the details.. Also Judging by their forum, alot of them seem rather bitter (mainly down to the cup game at St Marys in 2005)!!!

I know Ryan Tafazolli wont be offered a new contract when his contract runs out in June. He's been on loan at Salisbury City who were trying to sort out a deal with Saints to allow him to sign until the end of the season (his loan was due to expire 3 games before the end of the season) but injury put paid to that. Will be interesting to see who Adkins rates.

Fonte, Lallana, Chamberlain have been our stand out players and think will end the season as the top 3 in the vote. Think Fonte has been the most consistent out of the three though.. Barnard, Jaidi, Davis Butterfield and Hammond have been important players, but havent been as stand out as the above three. Think Harding has been solid, but not been as consistent as last season - maybe the fact he looks a little less confident when Adam isnt playing in front of him, maybe a result of this.
-
I looked at the likely points needed this morning and reckon 18-20 points more should do it. So 6 wins and a couple of draws gives us leeway of 2 or 3 defeats..

Only been late for a game once a couple of seasons ago and all the turnstyles were closed at the Northam, eventually had to ring my mate in the stadium and get him to send a steward down.

Spot on MLG.. Superb tactical move from Nigel, not only did we match them with our 4-3-3 but it allowed the front 6 to rotate, and the shape was always there... Morgan started right side but then he roved around as did Lallana, as did Punch, all interchanging in their roles which meant Blackpool didnt know who to pick up the width came from Richardson and Harding, it was a formation that worked brilliantly with the players we had but wont necessarily work every week but it worked to a 't' against Blackpool... We passed and moved really well and when we did need to go direct we saw a fair few diagonal balls to Lambert on the Left striker role from Morgan and Frazer which then saw Lallana, Punch or Barnard looked for the knock downs.. Was easy on the eye and the fluidity in which it worked and the thinking behind Nigel's decision to play it - shows he has the nous and proves what an astute manager he is.. couldnt fault anyone yesterday, even the relative inexperience of the two centrebacks were solid. Dickson when he came on showed he could do a job as a CM too. Worked wonders for me too - as I got my Sunday team to play it today and we won 6-0 (having lost to the same team 4-1 before Christmas)

Proof that their freekick was taken no where near where it should have been taken, proo defending none the less - glad the game didnt hinge on that. Four well taken goals though
-
And in there lies the answer to that!

back up to conference south. the zpl is the southern league... dont think there would have been any chance of kayne signing for salisbury had they not still been full time. its avery young side with the right mix of experience. if anyone isnt going to walsall on saturday then salisbury are home again
