Ill be at Salisbury (vs Hampton & Richmond) and if you take your Saints season ticket with you, you can get in for £7 -
or he wanted to play first team football and ddint think he was gonna dislodge RL or DC
-
Think there will be starts for Bart, Butterfield, Martin, Dickson, De Ridder, Chaplow, Schneiderlin, Holmes, Forte Reckon Fonte, Hammond and Cork will all be left out, with one of Lambert or Guly starting up front with other on bench with Lallana amongst others

Will the Birmingham Home Game now be on Sunday 18th Sept?
Littlelat17 replied to Ooooo Mariaaan's topic in The Saints
depends who they are drawn against in their group and if they are home or away.. if they are at home on the thursday it wont be too bad having a sat 520 kick off, but if they are away in some far flung country, they will be knackered -
No news article yet, but tickets are available at £15 for adults on the online tickets page - just bought 2

http://www.soccerbase.com is pretty details for dates, results, teams, scorers etc http://www.soccerbase.com/teams/team.sd?team_id=2471&comp_id=2&teamTabs=results and 90/91 season we played City on boxing day English Div 1 (old) We 26Dec 1990 Southampton 2 - 1 Man City

Well believe it or not, Forepast was only beaten once in a 1-1 draw on his debut - and he saved a penalty at 0-0. Early on he flapped at a couple of crosses and elected to (try and) punch, his goalkicks throughout were more suited to rugby as he found touch more often than not! Other than that he had mostly comfortable shots to gather and he had no chance with the Salisbury goal. He may have found his level!

As Saints are away this weekend and Im working in the morning so cant get to Barnsley, Ill be up at Salisbury Citys game on Saturday afternoon - Just so happens Salisbury are at home to.... THURROCK on Saturday!!! Ill certainly be hoping he picks a few balls on of his net! ;-) Anyone else who has a free afternoon pop along and see how many he ships in

Bart, butterfield, Jahdi, Seabourne, Dickson, De Ridder, Chaplow, Schneiderlin, Holmes, Barnard, Forte Not a bad second string team!
-
Its just like watching brazil.. its just like watching brazil... red numbers/names?
-
Yes he said in his interview, that it was another chance to try different partnerships and pairings and mix it around again so keeps everyone on their toes and competition high. I think for West Brom on Wednesday night and Yeovil next Saturday he will look to give players 70mins and some may even play 90
-
According to Nigel, Davis is playing in the second game and is captain.. Lambert 'is in the best shape he's ever been' but has a slight twinge in his back and Nigel wont take any risk for a friendly.
-
Cant see too many changes really so think both Lambert and Lallana will remain the same. To be honest only players i can see changing are Chaplow getting a lower number than 30 and Cork getting allocated a low number... From memory Puncheon at number 10 will be the only 'free' shirt from 1-11, so quite possible that Cork will get that, Chaplow will probably get 16 vacated by Wotton.

Just found a small clip of the Everton game and his goal starts at 3minutes
-
Loved him - anyone got any further links of him playing - seem to rememeber the Saints vs Everton 2-0 win at the Dell with Ronnie scoring after about 5 minutes was online at one point

Read the majority of posts on this thread, so sorry if its already been said, but didnt Jack Cork go on holiday after the England Under 21's got knocked out if the Euro's? In which case he may not have even had talks with Saints yet and wont until he returns from holiday?
-
cheers for that.. amazing how your mind goes blank all of a sudden!
-
Some great ideas, particularly like Mattio and Crab Lungs (1st ideas) Think the face is too big in the second one.. Agree with what people have said about keeping it simple. Having said that I agree with the fact that less of his jacket should be used, but at the same time I think the photo of him with the scarf around his neck and his arm aloft waving is iconic. Would leave out the saints crest as well I think - or maybe make it smaller in one corner.

Who was your favourite foreign Saints player? (current players don't count)
Littlelat17 replied to dune's topic in The Saints
Marian Pahars -
Reasonably happy with my renewal of £465... Another month til they go on sale though is interesting, did that happen last season?
-
But our league cup win over Bournemouth goals are on there!
-
When I tried to think back through weve had some good foreign players in the past but agree with Thedelldays ^^^.. Even had Ekelund, Berkovic, Pahars and Skacel printed on my shirts when i was younger.. Think my top 5 favourites would be 1. Pahars 2. Ekelund 3. Niemi 4. Fonte 5. Skacel Worst 5 would be 1. Dia 2. Nilsson 3. Bernard 4. Kanchelskis 5. Madsen
