Whilst I would agree it would be a shame to lose Jan, if the new lot really were able to safeguard the financial future of the club it might have to be a pill worth swallowing. Today was excellent - I am proud of the management and the players -but we still seem to have a paper thin defence and no money. Anyway.... who cares - if it happens it happens. Of the 4 "one on ones" only one was missed by McGoaldrick. Two were Holmes and one was Lallana. Bit simplistic to say we should just get a new striker. Indeed!

They don't sound like "Stern John" chances though. Ie. John may have finished them but they have been created by quick through balls - more DMcG's bag than Stern's. Think Stern could be a really useful sub, allowing us to change our style a bit later on if needed.
