Rubbish game management as usual. Should have strengthened CM instead of putting the useless Elyounoussi on. Romeu and JWP must be asked to do more than pretty much any other 2 players in the league and it's no wonder they get overrun as games go on. I expect we'll be right in the relegation scrap by January after these last two results. At least Romeu gets a rest in the next match. Livramento needs dropping. Terrible on the ball today. You can't play predictable, head-down, schoolboy football in the PL unless you're built like Antonio or Lukaku. On the plus side, Lyanco was ok, although he will defo give away a pen or two through being too tight. The ref was poor. Elyounoussi and Salisu were each booked for nothing, whilst the Brighton centre back should have been off first half.

Why does he not strengthen the midfield? It's always just a like-for-like swap of forwards / attacking midfielders even when it's obvious we need another body in midfield. So stupid.
-
Salish didn’t do anything wrong there at all. Fuck knows why the red booked him. Ref has been shit.

Desperate times when you think to yourself, "I hope Stephens is available".

Half Arab, not half Arabic, FFS you dopey twat.
-
Forster KWP Bednarek Salisu Perraud JWP Romeu Redmond Tella Adams Broja If Stephens is fit then no problem if he plays instead of Jan. Also, PLEASE no Salisu long throws.

I remember that day well. Albert Adomah tore us a new arse at Bristol City.

Was due to come to London on a business trip tomorrow. I've cancelled it now. I'm pleased, cos I didn't want to come anyway. But hope everyone doesn't die of Omnicron.

As soon as it hit Arnold’s arm, I thought, “Definite goal coming here!”.

Mike Chin is good friends with Dalian Wanda.

Piece of piss, then. Surprised someone else hasn't thought of it.

Yep, 5 points is OK from those 5. 6 is good. 7 points or more would be excellent and probably represent an overachievement.

Why would a business with no capital, a huge debt and disinterested shareholders want to buy a shitty scrap of land?
-
No, he's been largely ineffective. We lined up at the weekend with no creative players in our team, apart from maybe the full backs. He is no use at PL level. I'd sooner have Lee Holmes or Guly. No joke.
-
Absolute mess from Ralph, this. Walcott - waste of space. Armstrong left wing- waste of time. Lyanco on when Perraud should have been on - silly. Taking the best player on the pitch, Romeu, off - silly.
-
He works hard and is very neat but he simply isn't up to hurting teams in the PL. He can't beat anyone, he can't make space like, say, a Tadic and he can't get shots away quick enough. Having him and Diallo on the wings leaves us a bit toothless. Need to get Tella or Broja on instead.

I doubt we would buy anyone anyway in Jan, and next summer we'll sell one of Salisu, JWP or Tino for 50m+ and get Forster off the books. Does Long's contract expire then as well? Seems OK, although it's not helpful having piss poor income relative to other PL teams, obviously.

Which 90s band are you regretting the last 25-30 years over?

I still don’t understand the opening post. -
I feel like a lot of the American owners don't really "get it" plus their business culture is much more in the mindset of leveraging and extracting maximum value than certain other cultures. Whilst any other owner obviously wants some financial return or other benefit from owning the club as well, I tend to favour a European over an American. Chinese is generally a bad idea due to their political exposure. Obviously that's a big generalisation and there are plenty of undesirable European characters too. Maybe we should go African - proper sub-Saharan. Give Dangote a ring? Surely there's a big market for an African owned PL club?

Salisu's long throws are a massive bag of pony.
