Why would Semmens and Steele turn up? Bizarre. Who gives a fuck what Steele thinks. The fact the manager isn't there is pretty telling.

People are acting like he's been dumped in the shit. He had the whole world cup to work with the squad, minus two centre backs. He's got a squad with some proven Prem quality players and a core bunch of players who are no worse than other struggling teams - the one exception to that is probably at GK. Then he's been backed massively in January. He's in a more privileged position than most Saints managers have ever been in, yet he's managed to piss off a vast swathe of the fan base in no time at all. He's terrible.

Who the fuck is Alan Sheehan? And if he's a member of our staff who thinks we've been hard done by then he's a fucking moron. Is he Mad Nath's qualification-less mate? Embarrassing.

Funny that we finally spend a tonne of money but have a poundshop manager.

Ankersen is one of the three shareholders of SR. He's going nowhere unless he decides to step down. We need to sweep out Jones, Semmens and the others who have been here a few years and hope Ankersen can replace them well.

If we can keep the finances even then provided some of the recent signings stay, we could actually have a pretty good season. As others have said JWP, KWP, Lavia, Salisu and ABK will off. Should get well over 100,000,000 for those unless we completely fuck up proceedings. Can see a newly promoted team being interested in Che too. AMN loan will end. Willy and Theo off to run a pub. Defence looks decent for Championship with DCC, Bednarek, Perraud and Tino but would need a bit of cover added. Central midfield is poor but if Acaraz stays then just need to get a bit of muscle in. Upfront, Mara and Armstrong should be quality. Give some of the kids a go on wings too. Wouldn't need major surgery. A lot of our players are better than people think, they've just been saddled with inert and poor leadership.

We had a clear strategy to hit long balls at Orsic and Djenepo in the first half. Jones bollocked Djenepo for having the temerity to show for a ball to feet rather than look to run on behind. The first half was turgid, uninspiring, boring crap and we were lucky not to go in behind.

Our football is just so basic. Jones is a truly awful appointment. No clue how to build play or get any kind of control of the game. Our offensive game plan is clearly to leave Orsic and Djenepo high up and hit long balls to them. It's rank. It's also why Salisu and KWP are left exposed all the time.

They have been a failure. There were a few things that were needed. 1 - inject some fresh impetus and drive; get rid of Mediocre Martin and instill some ambition. Failed. 2 - appoint a decent manager. Failed. Bizarre appointment. 3 - improve the GK position. Incredibly, failed, with a very low bar. 4 - improve up front. Failed. Mara might be good at some point but clearly hasn’t delivered yet. 5 - improve CB. Fair play, succeeded. 6 - midfield: neutral. Lavia is great, but AMN hasn’t delivered so we are still lacking depth in CM. On the wings, Stu Armstrong seems to have issues. Aribo is shite. We’ve basically swapped Edozie and Aribo for Redmond and Armstrong. I know which two I’d rather have. Let’s hope Orsic and Alcaraz can do something, if the manager lets them on the pitch. In short, they’ve done terribly. Quite remarkable considering they only needed to be better than Gao.

Club seems to be a complete shit-show at the moment. Ineptitude all over the place.
