Beaches in Croatia are shite to hang about on. All pebbles. It is scenic, but not really comfortable. Croatia is lovely but if beach is your main motivation, then no. Having said that, was at Bol beach on the island of Brac and two young local girls, who were fit, got their tits out. But, yeah, in general, for beaches I would go to Maldives, Thailand, Mauritius or Lepe.

I used to be clinically fed up. I think a run through the north would tip me over though

I like what we do on the ball. Yesterday the line up was wrong. I'm confident that once all our forwards are available and settled and we have people in their correct position we will score plenty of goals. We have also added some height to the squad with Ross Stewart and THB. Again, once we set up with our best XI we should be OK at set pieces. Aside from individual errors, the big issue, which has been obvious in pretty much every match is the lack of midfield cover for the back 4. Simply, our midfield is too high as a unit. We absolutely need to calm it down and have someone goal side of the ball at all times. Being turned over and having all midfielders the wrong side of the ball really isn't acceptable (unless there's a couple of minutes left and we're chasing the game). We need Charles to sit deep. We need Downes or Smallbone to also play disciplined and then we can have Alcaraz or whoever charging beyond the forwards.

Bazunu is fucking shite. Also, why don't we have a deep lying midfielder?
-
Smallbone fit. Awesome.

It will be interesting to see if RM goes with two "pivot" (excuse me) midfielders or sticks with the two "8"s. We could play Charles and Downes or we could just play one of them. Personally I'd play both, with Alcaraz in front allowing him to push very high and Interchange with ArmA, so that he can drop a bit deeper. I'm assuming Adams won't feature. I guess THB hasn't been around long enough to start so it will be Holgate and Bednarek at the back.

We musket a striker.
-
He's white?!! WTF?
-
I don't really think we need another wide forward regardless of Sulemana leaving or staying (yes, I know RM said we would get one...). Edozie, Fraser, SAA are obviously competing for spots, then there are Djepeno and Aribo who don't seem to be going anywhere, plus we've got Stuart Armstrong, Alcaraz and Adam Armstrong all potentially competing for an "8", assuming that we will usually play two of Charles, Downes and Smallbone in midfield. Personally, I'd be happy playing Stu, ArmA or Alcaraz in one of those wider roles sooner than spaffing money on another winger. Striker and CB should be the priorities.

Don't be mean, he's Welsh. At least he didn't say, Llywyyn Supporter.
-
I'd sooner start Mara, assuming Adams is off, simply to allow ArmA in a deeper role. When Mara came on at the weekend, ArmA began running the game. Alternatively, Alcaraz can have a crack at striker. I just feel like it would be a mistake not to have ArmA in that deeper role when he's playing so well.

In the running to be new head of Spanish FA and/or UEFA, apparently.

The QPR player didn't impact Bazunu's sight or motion at all and made no movement towards the ball. Perfectly fair goal and would certainly not have been overruled by VAR. Shite clearance from Armstrong, I think. Just glad the lino noticed the offside for the disallowed "goal". Two observations on that: great save from Bazunu and the offside only occurred because Stephens was very quick to step up - he often gets his positioning wrong but that was good defending. The defending of the initial run from the player with the ball was pathetic though from Stu Amstrong and someone else.
-
Fraser is a better player, so who cares. Good luck, Nathan.

I've been pleasantly surprised with how good the officials have been in our matches so far. Generally consistent and no big howlers. Seems better than the Premier League, to be honest.

"My brother and me". You're welcome.

This man is clearly some sort of pervert.

He's 27 and they are probably offering him a contract worth about £20 million to him. Or he can play on reduced wages in the Championship. Simple as that
