  1. Adams is not a main striker. He's an excellent supporting striker who can come deep and help create things, but he's not a natural finisher and his movement in the box is not great. I worry that if we just swap him for Stewart in the current system then we won't create the chances for Stewart to put away. It would have been interesting to try a 352 or even a 442 at times to see how Adams and Armstrong got on playing "up front" together in this division.
  2. We might still!
  3. Who am I libelling? Trump? Pretty sure he's got more pressing legal issues to worry about than the millions of people who, every day, point out he's dodgy as hell online. The point here is that by diluting everyone's shares, the price will fall. My point all along is that this is a terrible investment for anyone else and that the people that have done so are probably, by and large, idiots, who will enable him to make cash out of a sad litttle business that isn't worth anything much. Since you first mentioned it and implied it was some sort of long term bet, it has tanked completely. You keep posting things that show I'm correct.
  4. Lol. You're all over the place mate. Remember when I said this was a way for Donald to scam money off idiots... oh look!

    Stu Armstrong

I met him once and he seemed like a nice guy.
  7. Brooks has been asleep. Get Fraser on. Charles for Stu before he gets himself sent off.
  8. That's illegal. You have a right to object to automated decisions taken using your personal data and to have them manually reviewed.
  9. I never said you can't make a bit of money on it from time to time. I said it's a scam for idiots. Since you were tipping it, it's sunk.
  10. Turkish making a right twat of himself! 🤣
  11. Down 17% today. One of the most incompetent stock scams ever attempted.
  12. What we massively lack is another Flyn Downes so we can play the *hipster alert!!!* Double Pivot and close down midfield. Martin tried to make one yesterday by putting Stephens in there and it didn't work. He doesn't fancy Charles. That leaves us without one and it's a big gap in the squad. Anyhow, can we please start playing with a proper back 4 again, with a left back and a right back for the rest of the season. It usually works quite well!
  13. Stuart Armstrong. Fucking hell! Having a mare. Terrible passing.

    Israel

Of course they're not up for it when they are being starved and bombed. And neither would you be. The groundwork for the 2 state solution has to start with Israel which has almost total economic and military control of the entire country. They need to do the work to change attitudes (which are arguably quite legitimate - I don't think I'd like a bunch of foreigners turning up, forcing me into smaller parcels of land, declaring me unwelcome in certain areas, controlling when I can leave, stealing farmland, locking up children, occasionally sniping folk, etc...). We British don't even like pathetic consignments of bedraggled folk on dinghies occupying the rooms of some of Kent's finest 3 star hotels. There is no war or battle for supremacy. It's done. So there are two options: Israel pushes for complete subjugation/displacement of the people who have actually lived there for centuries; or, Israel tries to create an environment where a solution can work, which would involved a bit of humility, which sadly seems in short supply amongst Israeli politicians. On top of that, the world needs to do more to stop rogue nations like Iran and Russia from causing trouble.

    Israel

None of the neighbouring states are hard-line Islamist states. This is precisely why Iran backs terrorist groups in the region. The countries in the region generally want stable nation states, built around ideas of nation-hood and participation in the international community, not pan-national religious twaddle. Iran is the outlier seeking to gain influence against the emerging Saudi presence on the global stage by pushing a concept of pan-national Islamism. The rulers in the Gulf states, in Jordan, in Syria etc. have no time for these ideologies and are focused on economic growth as a part of the global community (obviously Syria is connected to Iran and Russia for a variety of reasons so is a bit of an outlier, but it certainly isn't an Islamic state by ideological conviction). Yes, they are not democracies but many of the citizens in those countries are quite happy about that. Frankly, if you're colonial settlers, I'm not sure you have the right to moan in any case.

    Israel

Now you're just being silly and you're conflating various different issues. The reality is that most Jews live outside Israel and that most Israelis chose to go and live there. If anyone is imposing cultural norms on that piece of land, it's not really the Arabs. And dare I say that your view of how the typical Arab state operates is a wee bit racist.

    Israel

This is retarded. Which "Arab and Muslim states" have a policy of zero Jews in Palestine?
  18. Down 10% today. Again.
  19. Down another 10% in the last 24 hours. #goinggangbusters https://twitter.com/MeidasTouch/status/1775967310530134394?t=6r6nmkxzpS-Ueawemn5Vkg&s=19

    Israel

"Irrelevant" was probably the wrong word. Clearly, there is a causal chain between various events. The point I was trying to make is that none of that background justifies the Israeli response, notwithstanding the complex history.

    Israel

It's blindingly obvious that Israel's actions are outrageous and unjustifiable. The history of the region, religious beliefs, the appaling acts and appaling governance of Hamas, who is a terrorist vs. a freedom fighter etc... irrelevant. What they are doing is outrageous. Their government has numerous disgusting people in it who view this as a great opportunity to further their own supremacist goals and don't care about starving children or bombing aid workers in the process. I really don't see how anyone who isn't a psychopath can disagree with that.
  22. All roads lead to Putin, with this cunt. http://Exclusive: Trump Media saved in 2022 by Russian-American under criminal investigation https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2024/apr/03/trump-media-es-family-trust-2022-loans?CMP=share_btn_url
  23. Assuming we don't go up... Honestly, who knows? So many variables. KWP off. THB off. Adams off. Probably at least one of Stewie or Aribo to manage the wage bill? Hopefully get some cash for Sulemana and Mara. Can we keep hold of Bednarek? I'd like to, but maybe he'll want to leave. Downes? Hopefully we can persuade him to join. Fraser? Hopeful we can sign him. That leaves us needing a rebuild at the back. In an ideal world that would include GK. We would also want to strengthen at centre mid to give us a bit more defensive protection (and if Downes doesn't stay we would need to replace). Up front, you'd hope we would still be pretty strong though: Fraser, Edozie, Stewart (inshallah), Armstrong A, Amo Ameyaw, Dibbling
  24. Unfortunately, it's not easy to short. There aren't enough shares around to be leant as there are not the levels of institutional investment one would normally see in a major IPO. The demand to short it is too high. If it could be more easily shorted, the price would have gone even lower by now. The challenge for Trump is to get his money out without causing the price to completelt free fall and without extending his jail time.
