Not sure I agree. Israeli attack on Iranian nuclear sites is now inevitable but the last couple of days / weeks have shown that their technological superiority is huge and decisive. Iran has ended up looking weak and stupid. They will be working flat out to weaponise their nukes as they no longer have Hamas or Hezbollah posing any serious threat. It's all they have left but Isreal will probably destroy it all in one evening. What happens then? Unless a major power steps in to help Iran then probably not a lot. There are no other countries in the region that would mourn the emasculation of Iran, with the possible exception of Asad in Syria. There will likely be some small flare ups in response in Iraq, Bahrain, maybe Kuwait, some unrest in Turkey, maybe, some simple minded marches in London, Paris and so on, probably a few terrorist attacks, potentially in escalation in Yemen, but I don't see it escalating into a wider war.

Like I said.... Israeli attacks on strategic Iranian sites coming your way soon.

I was prepared to stick with Martin provided we were competitive in matches but the way the team is set up tonight is idiotic. Dibling and Fernandes hung out to dry. One of our best players, KWP, wasted on the bench. Changing the shape and set up constantly. I presume the intention was for Dibling and Fernandes to pick it up between the lines and for Fraser and Cornet to run beyond them. Worked OK for ten minutes but it goes to shit if you can't find those deep forwards and leaves us exposed. Needlessly complicated. Play a striker, allow the back 4 to look for him, have Cornet running off him instead. Have Fraser on the bench, not KWP who is far, far better.

Ipswich are crap and will get relegated. Villa had loads of good breaks and chances to put the game to bed but fecked them up then gifted Ipswich a goal with some terrible defending. I wouldn't be at all surprised if us, Ipswich and Leicester go down, assuming no one else gets a big points deduction.

Is he trying to create material to support him claiming he's not mentally fit to stand trial in the future? Either that, or he's a wreck.
-
I'd give BBD a go through the middle. He's mobile, got a decent jump and clearly willing to try to buy some free kicks. --------------BBD------------ KWP--------------------Dibling -------Fernandes--Lallana---- -------------Downes---------- Taylor-----Jan---THB---Suga Rambo PLEASE no triple substitution on 60 minutes.

Lol. Don't be a moron. There are Lebanese birds shaking their tits around all over the nightclubs and beaches of Beirut. You'd love it.

Quite. The short term aim for Israel is to keep escalating until they have an excuse to bomb Iran's nuclear facilities. The long term aim is to force all non-Israelis out of Gaza and the West Bank, but that will just move their current issues to a different border. There was a chance to create a two state solution a few decades ago but it's fucked now and will always be, I think. Eliminating Hezbollah, crushing Hamas, in the way they have been, just creates a new group in Iraq, in Yemen, in Jordan, in Kuwait, in Syria etc. In hindsight, "Israel" should have been put in Nebraska or somewhere like that.

I wonder what he's getting paid at the moment. Presumably not much relative to other first teamers. There must be a deal to be done where we put him on a new contract at, say, 70k a week, with a release clause. Would be attractive to him as long as the release clause is realistic as he'd net a big chunk of cash even if he leaves next summer. I think we can be confident he would justify the wage if he stays and confident he will raise us good money if we go down. He gets the safety net of a longer deal, way more cash over the next ten months, plus knowledge that he can leave when a big boy comes calling.

Shame one of those wasn't on the pitch when we got the pen on Saturday.... oh.

-----------Rambo---------- Suga----ABK---Edwards---Taylor -------Lez-----BillyBone------- Cornet-------Aribo------Fraser --‐-----------BBD------------- Needs to be a half decent team. We need to stop losing and they will presumably rotate, so we should have a chance. Stewart to hopefully be good for another 40 mins or so off the bench. If like to see Fernandes given some time in one of the deeper midfield roles too. Cornet and Fraser competing for a start against Ipswich. ABK chance to prove readiness for Prem team as well.

I mean, we're so much better at football than Everton. Just need to stick it in onion bag and Europe is our whore.

I'm not sure this squad can play much better than that for the first 35 minutes. Martin changed the shape. Lesley looks very good, Suga and Dibling are class. I still think KWP is not a good left back though at this level. I'd play Taylor with KWP in front. If we take a competent penalty, it's a completely different game. Unfortunately, we've given two very soft goals away. Need to see the replays to get appropriately angry with any culprit. If it's Stephens then that's on Martin, I guess. Still, I think we look much better than abject relegation fodder and I'm confident we'll pick up some points before long. It would be very handy if Stewart turns out to be class. Let's give Cornet and Lallana a crack soon.

Donald Trump's response to a question on how he would make childcare more affordable. I am sure this is a clear policy that everyone can get behind. "Well, I would do that, and we're sitting down, and I was, somebody, we had Senator Marco Rubio, and my daughter Ivanka was so, uh, impactful on that issue. It's a very important issue. But I think when you talk about the kind of numbers that I'm talking about, that, because, look, child care is child care is. Couldn't, you know, there's something, you have to have it – in this country you have to have it. But when you talk about those numbers compared to the kind of numbers that I'm talking about by taxing foreign nations at levels that they're not used to — but they'll get used to it very quickly – and it's not gonna stop them from doing business with us, but they'll have a very substantial tax when they send product into our country. Uh, those numbers are so much bigger than any numbers that we're talking about, including child care, that it's going to take care. We're gonna have - I, I look forward to having no deficits within a fairly short period of time, coupled with, uh, the reductions that I told you about on waste and fraud and all of the other things that are going on in our country, because I have to stay with child care. I want to stay with child care, but those numbers are small relative to the kind of economic numbers that I'm talking about, including growth, but growth also headed up by what the plan is that I just, uh, that I just told you about. We're gonna be taking in trillions of dollars, and as much as child care, uh, is talked about as being expensive, it's, relatively speaking, not very expensive compared to the kind of numbers we'll be taking in. We're going to make this into an incredible country that can afford to take care of its people, and then we'll worry about the rest of the world. Let's help other people, but we're going to take care of our country first. This is about America first. It's about Make America Great Again, we have to do it because right now we're a failing nation, so we'll take care of it. Thank you. Very good question. Thank you." The silly bellend also seems to think tariffs are a tax on third countries, rather than a domestic consumer tax. Either that or he's deliberately misrepresenting his own policy. #DonOld #Senile

This is what we should do from the start, with Taylor at LB. Much more balanced. Cornet on the other side and BBD or Archer through the middle.
