The bit ealier got me looking through my books again;
So, some of the Cinemas in Soton circa 1940 until x
Classic - Above Bar
Palladium - Portswood
Plaza - Northam
Regent- Shirley
Rialto - unsure
The Ritz - Bitterne
Savoy - Swaythling
and
'Woolston Picture Theatre'
There are some others that I can't read because of the the dodgy pictures in the book I have.
This is what I'm leaning towards. It is difficult though as I've had a ST for 20 odd years now and **** all has happened (positively anyway). Now I could miss a special day which would kill me.
So, I have to go away before the end of the season.
I have the choice of missing Hartlepool at home or Brentford away (assuming I get tickets).
Considering where we are and where we'd like to be, which would you miss?
But what has that got to do with anything on this thread and also, why does that somehow tie in to your mental statement suggesting that it might have been better if the Nazis won WWII?
If that's all you think that was wrong with the Nazis then you're very mis-informed.
The British, in fact, were the first to use any sort of concentration camp, but it's really very irrelevant.
Two things wrong with that
a) I don't think that his career can be regarded as 'recent' .
b) he scored own goals against Leeds and Newcastle, two in a row.
