  1. Glad I went to the game today! Haven't been since the start of the season, and we appear to have come on a bit since then. Davis: 6. Didn't have a lot to do, flapped at a couple of crosses but otherwise solid. Frazer: 7. Didn't realise how solid the guy is! He's a well built fella, and worked very hard both in defence and attack. Impressed. Jaidi: 7. Best game I've seen him play, didn't look knackered or old as he usually does when I see him play, passing is terrible but that's why he's a CB.. Jose: 7. Had a bit of a mare first half, missed clearances and got done over by their attack a couple times but appeared motivated in the second half and the goal did him wonders. Dickson: 7. Again, solid both going forward and back. Not as influential as Frazer on the right but good showing nonetheless. Adam: 9. The guy's unreal, effortlessly outplaying them at points, and at others running around as if he's got boundless energy winning the ball back. That episode at the end of the first half when he chased everyone on the ball was astounding. Dean: 7. What he lacks in pace, he makes up in energy and enthusiasm. Good ball winner and leader. Chaps: 7. Thought he looked quite quiet for long periods of the game. Took his goal really well, and as someone sat near me said: 'He's always in the box at the right time, at both ends.' Cleared up lots of crosses in our box and appeared when it mattered for the goal. Alex O-C: 8. Another magic set of pacey feet from the academy. Had the full backs in his pockets all day, shame no one got on the end of his crosses. Great talent. Rickie: 6. Game quite often passed him by. Frustrating performance. I don't doubt the guy's ability, he struck a great free kick in the first half that hit the side netting. But he desperately needs a few goals from open play to get his confidence back. Nice new boots too. Lee: 8. Great first touch and his ability to hold up the ball sometimes made him look like he was doing the work of both strikers. Disappointed to see him subbed but hey ho. Took his goal brilliantly, great strike can't wait to see it tonight. Subs: Guly: 6/7. Show's great one touch ability, some of his flicks were awesome. Showed guile and guts to barge their full back off the ball and win it back. He's learning! Good goal, but should've buried his one on one. Lee Holmes: 6/7. Really rate the guy, just hope he gets a run free of injury. Showed bottle and confidence that obviously has been coming through to Adkins in training. Hopefully he'll get better the more games he plays. Just as long as he's free from the treatment table.
  2. What. The. Hell?! Clearly a very unhappy bunny who wants out.
  3. He'd definitely sign up if they offered him wedge.
  4. Sorry if this has already been covered somewhere.. But does anyone know if Dean Wilkins has been around for training this week since NA came in?
  5. Hooray! FINALLY.
  6. 'Remains a possibility' 'Negotiations still continuing' 'All are united that it has to be on the terms of the club (S****horpe)' 'Got an hour's sleep last night.'
  7. Adkins at 1300 on Wednesday.
  8. ****ing hell it's like watching zombies going through the motions. WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON!
  9. Strange, weren't our JPT games last season all 7pm kick offs?
  10. Bmouth fans chanting 'One Harry Redknapp'. Crikey they're scraping the barrel after ten minutes.
  11. I always thought he was captain of their lesser used U20s side as well.
  12. Mine was unceremoniously hacked off by some big bruiser (many thanks, mate) when I was at the Brighton game. I was eleven I think and that seat won't ever leave me.
  13. There's a Facebook group called 'Touch Ted For Luck'. 28 members! Whoa.
  14. Jubilee Line's down from Finchley Road upwards. Which includes Wembley. Same goes for the Metropolitan Line. Basically, that mucks everything up. However saying that, I think the Bakerloo's ok so you could get to Wembley Central, but that will be busy as **** as everyone clambers onboard to get south.
  15. As someone who lives in NW London, I can't say enough about avoiding the North Circular around Wembley, Neasden, Willesden, Brent Cross, Hendon as well as the dreaded Hangar Lane roundabout etc. It's gridlock at the best of times. I'd personally recommend NOT DRIVING! Get the train to Waterloo, Northern Line to Golders Green then 83 bus to the stadium. Nobody gets the 83, it quietly pops up at Wembley Central station in 20 minutes and you're at Wembley Way. Bosh.
  16. How can you score 10 goals in two games then lose 2-1 in the next. Bloody pitch.
  17. I'll be in The Gambia, anyone know about anything, anywhere where the game might even be broadcast?
  18. +1million. Banter's fine. Waving some fake money is banter. A guy dressed as a fake Sheikh is funny banter. Goading fans as they make their way to a football match and telling the police to **** off is just a bit pointless and unnecessary. We're not showing ourselves to be any better than them by lowering ourselves to that level. Yeah yeah.. Saw a lot of reasons to be sad to be a Saints fan today, but saw a lot more to be proud to be one I think.
  19. Is that their seat + one? Or just your seat and your seat only? Horribly ambiguous.
  20. The poor guy's knackered, it doesn't take a genius to see that the guy suffers now every time he chases lost causes (which are becoming more frequent). He clearly needs a rest. Perhaps Connolly and Barndoor Barnard will get a run now. But unfortunately, we need Lambert. Tired or not, he does a lot of the **** work for other players. He chases everything, but wears out after 65 minutes at present. The guy needs a rest.
  21. Just got back from the game. Kelvin Davis saved our blushes. Barndoor Barnard should've finished it for us. Paul Wotton strung a few good passes together cueing 'Paul Wotton Football Genius' chants. Rickie looks very jaded. Otsemebor had a few nice touches and runs. Fonte was solid enough, as was Seabourne. Fish had his moments but overall impressed. Left the ground with a mixture of relief that we didn't lose and frustration that we didn't kill it when we had the chance. Still, a point on a pitch that deserves nothing more than League 2 football.
  22. We're going to do it, I can see Wembley on the horizon (literally, I live there) But I'm in Africa on Final Day, which simply means that we'll stuff Dons at SMS and then destroy Carlisle/Leeds at Wembley. I can feel it.
  23. Nicola Cortese does remind me a little of this fella from Quantum of Solace... http://olivier.quenechdu.free.fr/spip/local/cache-vignettes/L400xH600/007_qos_dominic-green-4ac1c.jpg He doesn't have anything to do with any hidden oil in Hedge End does he?
  24. I'll be there too, live 10 mins from Lords! Going to be a great spectacle
  25. I met Rod Stewart in Baker Street, London, today. No joke! I really did!
