  1. Saints Vs Leicester: Davis. Harding, Martin, Hooiveld, Fox. Cork, Hammond©, Schneiderlin, Falque. Guly, Connolly #saintsfc
  2. To be blunt, you're wrong. There's nobody at the club who gives more than Holmes. Fact.
  3. I'm delighted. A local game for me either way.
  4. Nobody's opinion is any more valid than anyone else's. But there is debate and then there is spamming. Alpine, I think you don't stop at debate, you go ahead and spam. You're not alone, however, and this isn't aimed exclusively at you.
  5. I agree. Always liked watching Holmes play. Whilst he's not the quickest he does have something about him that troubles the opposition. Come up with some good goals too. Provided he stays injury free and someone gives him a run in the side, he'll come up with the goods. His work in the community has always been exemplary. But sadly I think after today he's not got a way back into the side.
  6. If he's had a change of attitude, been humbled by his lack of recent football, and is willing to work his absolute arse off in whatever department of training NA puts him in to prove he wants to play, then I'll have him back. That's what I'd say to him anyway.
  7. The short answer is that you can't get Solent in London. Whilst you can get the BBC website to play the digital version of the station, but they won't ever broadcast the matches on there because of contractual reasons. The answer, simply, is to subscribe to SaintsPlayer as Deano6 says.
  8. "It was a very easy decision and I am extremely happy to have signed," Fonte told BBC Radio Solent. "This is the only place I want to be and is one of the happiest days of my life." "The chairman is doing a great job, the manager is doing a great job and all the staff are doing a great job. We are having a great season and this is the place to be," he added. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/16354197.stm Absolutely thrilled.
  9. Just got tickets in block 30.
  10. Can anyone tell me if the Ticket Office is open tomorrow? Hoping to get a ticket before I head back up to London.
  11. Guly didn't want it. The other players showed plenty of fight but guly was anonymous.
  12. Doble to the rescue!!
  13. How do you know, why etc...
  14. I still have my membership card from about 1996/7. Won a comp through sponsors Woolwich Building Society for a free ticket to see us draw 3-3 against Middlesbrough at the Dell. Got a mention in the programme. Made my life as a kid. Always thoroughly enjoyed the signed birthday cards from your favourite player. Shipps and Matty Oakley if I remember rightly. Happy days.
  15. ****ing hell. Yawn-tastic.
  16. Particulary like Steve de Ridder's comment on twitter earlier: Steve De Ridder @joshooiveld20 pffft do I really have to see your face nearly every day for the next 3 years???!!! #gutted
  17. I honestly don't think we'd have beaten Utd at Old Trafford. At St Mary's, yes I think we would. But not away.
  18. http://www.portsmouthfc.co.uk/LatestNews/news/Portsmouth-Football-Club-Statement-2855.aspx 'Portsmouth Football Club can today provide the following information regarding recent events as a result of issues relating to Vladimir Antonov and Snoras Bank: The club's parent company, Convers Sports Initiatives plc (CSI), has been placed into administration. Vladimir Antonov has resigned as chairman and director of Portsmouth Football Club. Portsmouth Football Club (2010) Limited – the company that operates PFC – is not in administration and continues to trade. The club has funding in place for the short term, but will now be seeking alternative investment for its longer-term requirements.' Pretty damning if you ask me. And also very similar to our old situation. Surely they must be docked points? Personally I'd hate to see some of my Pompey supporting friends, who are honest enough fans and people, go through the mire a second time. But I have to wonder how they've managed it again.
  19. Without wishing to scaremonger, doesn't he have history with his knee?
  20. On the way home. We got found out today a little. Chaplow's exit was key, but we were all off colour today. Here's hoping we pick it back up for the next game.
  21. And by definition I'll also support any team playing within the city limits. Unless they're playing Southampton.
  22. Was hoping for Charlton away for purely selfish reasons but Rovers at home is a wonderful draw. Here's hoping they win it!
  23. Has anyone said anything about the awful spelling and grammar?
