Aaah, the good old days are back. Verbal is making election predictions, and CB Fry is conflating ART with boxed frogs.

And with your track record, that's the best news the tories have had for a decade.

Puel Sacked? - As Reported by Crook of Sh*t

I'm equivocal about whether he goes or stays, but if he goes I'm certain we will replace him with another damned good manager. There are a few around and we are now a very desirable club. And if VvD goes for the sort of fee that is being bandied around, then we will be, in my opinion, in the best position we have ever been in. One that, barring the usual culprits in the top six, every other club would cut off their right arm to be in. -

What would we think if Lady DH was on British TV in a thong and wonderbra? -
Not to mention sat.

The amount of western aid in the third world is miniscule compared to the oil-rich Islamic funds all over Africa, building schools, Mosques, roads, Mosques, hospitals, Mosques, clinics, Mosques, airports, Mosques and, of course, Mosques. Yes I know Christian missionaries did the same 200 years ago. The only way to deal with this issue is to compromise the perceived right to privacy and free speech, and triple the budgets of GCHQ, MI5 amd MI6, remove the shackles and let them get on with their job. I've got nothing to hide. Well not much anyway. Have you? -
Global warming really is happening... (well, duh!)

Nah, the ones that keep on discharging greenhouse gases willy nilly should be at the top of the list. Toxic solid waste can just be buried. Preferably in Portsmouth. -

You should start with the ones that fart most. Im surprised you didn't think of that. -
Nah, Romeu replaced Nick Holmes. We've got a bit of a backlog.

In the same way that Leicester are now at the same level as Chelsea?

I think it's the attempts by Corbyn's crusade to conflate (Labour) foreign policy 15 years ago with current foreign policy that is raising eyebrows. -
I think it is only the end of the beginning

You're aware that most Arab gulf countries don't allow Christian immigration, or Sikh or Hindu or Buddhist etc. But their hospitals are still full of Christian, Hindu, Sikh and Buddhist doctors and nurses and cleaners and porters and...... Where does this fallacy that you have to give people the right to come and live in your country permanently, and bring their extended family with them, just because they come to study there, or work there for a few years. I am currently in the ME (not through choice). I have a 2 year work permit sponsored by my employer. That means if for any reason I lose my job I will be given 14 days to leave the country. It also means that if do anything a bit naughty, like for example being caught in posession of a pork sausage, I will be deported immediately. I'm not suggesting the UK should follow the Arab states. They are backward, racist and routinely practice blatant lawful (under local laws) discrimination. But there are alternative ways of having foreign workers without full-on open mass immigration. Unless you get all your information from reading newspapers (or SaintsWeb) -
Are you practising your Chinese in anticipation?

The presidents own real shares in the football club. The fans own shares in the trust, and the trust owns real shares in the football club. They're all equal. Definitely.

...honest and as transparent as ever. They would have needed 86.8% (+1) of trust "shareholders" to vote in favour, which I'm sure they easily surpassed, and no doubt they will be making the actual voting numbers available any minute now.

The blame lies with McCluskey and his predecessors. The politicians are just puppets.

Now that this season is finally over, I'm hoping that next season will have fewer possibilities, and that they are not very interesting.

I'm absolutely certain that I read that somewhere, so it must be true.

So has Great British Bake Off

Anything Glasgow puts his hand on tends to oscillate wildly.

If you look at who the top 6 are, finishing in the top 8 four seasons in a row would be quite an achievement, whatever way you spin it.

Right on. I'm starting to believe we'll never beat Cheltenham in the league

There are some types of manslaughter where you can only be found guilty after successfully pleading a partial defence to murder (such as diminished responsibility for instance). You can't actually be charged with that type of manslaughter, only murder. I didn't follow this case, but it might apply here.

Credit where credit's due. This is no time to be churlish. Roll on next season.
