You've made a spelling mistake in the thread title

Time to go Virgil. Don't let the door smack your arśe on the way out.

Not necessarily, it will be mid winter for half of Africa.

Oh I dunno, he has a point. Maybe it is time to hike ticket prices up.

Who?

Unless of course the fundamental point of a new contract is to give a player a big pay rise after the new tv income, and extending the period is just a bit of quid pro quo.

Nothing is going to be agreed. There is only one issue at stake - legal jurisdiction. The EU is demanding to retain supremacy of EU courts over domestic UK courts, and Britain won't accept that. It is a stalemate. Personally I don't see it being broken. Explain how EU citizen rights could be governed in the UK by EU courts, but not British or other citizens. Two different legal systems?

Finally in the safe hands of a fantastically wealthy (but they hope financially inept) new owner, and in the never ending battle against the evil forces of taxmen, creditors, petty rule makers and scummahs, Captain Catlin, Wookie Westwood and Princess Penny embark on a new adventure, backed by a valiant new army of mice, ducks, bears, dogs and pirates, and don’t forget the dwarves. No longer hampered by being the biggest club in the league (that would be Bradford) Or the most successful (that would be Blackburn) Or most recently in the premier league (that would also be Blackburn) Or the richest (take your pick) How will they fare in their battle to bring Premier League football back where it belongs, to the toothless masses in the seething stadium of passion? Back to back promotions? A three year plan? The football world waits, breathless.

Like you I'm fairly certain Larry hangs out in Glasgow but originally hails from Bournemouth.

How about the last 10 departures instead?

Is the club "up for sale"? Genuine question. I know the owner is prepared to sell at the right price to the right buyer, but I don't see that as being the same thing. My house isn't up for sale, but if somebody makes me a bloody good offer I would sell it.

So, just three more days to go then we have to close the thread down. Shame, it's been fun.

Take the two keepers out, factor in 3 or 4 outfield injuries at any given time and that's not over generous.

What is this Facebook you speak of?

Geo-blocked for international viewers? Good marketing Saints.

I think soggy lives near Maidstone. Is it him?

Since when has money ever been a problem for them?
-
We should sign more players like Shane Long, and get rid of this tapping-up malarkey once and for all.
-
It's not news it's a rumour of an opinion. News would be an interview with Virgil, saying it on the record.

Is Leicester a top 6 club?
-
Where does all this "push on" nonsense come from? We won't be pushing on. Ever. We are already competing at the top of the "best of the rest" level and we'll never move into the top six. It requires hundreds of millions. I'm happy where we are. Sure it needs continuing investment to stay where we are, but in reality that means carrying on largely as we are, with owners (whoever they are) not taking money out of the club.
