Exactly. Somebody earlier gave us the benefit of a lengthy post about the pitfalls of a transaction of this nature. We know absolutely sod all about the nature of this transaction, other than the name of the person (or maybe he's the front man of a consortium?) that has bought 80% of the shares of the company that owns the football club.

Apparently 'Arry's leg is playing up again, it's touch and go whether he can put up with the excruciating pain for much longer. It'll probably get the better of him just after the end of August.

Some of my earliest memories are seeing him on Sunday Night at the London Palladium on a tiny black and white tv in the '50s. Everybody going round in a circle on that big carousel at the end waving. I can still see it now. End of an era. RIP.
