We have a choice as a club. We had that choice. Maybe our objectives have changed. We were on course to be a *Champions League club, I believe, but, obviously, that has changed.

They know that the UK is going to go through a period of uncertainty, but for the time being they don't see any need to change our AA+ rating. That's why they get paid so much.

I think the words "in the short term" that he slipped into the first point should not be ignored. Maybe some "older" people have done what they consider to be the decent thing, and are prepared to take some short-term pain to give the possibility of what they see as a brighter future for their children and grandchildren. Or maybe they're all swivel-eyed raving racists, all 17 million of them.

I think most 18-24 year olds voted to leave and now they're just waiting for the 18% fall in house prices that the Chancellor of the Exchequer promised them.

Hopefully an end to the Townsend lobbying.

So who will be next to play Referendum Roulette? My money's on the Dutch, they seem like they've had enough.

I wouldn't necessarily agree that no growth in a year is very poor, with interest rates where they are. But otherwise I agree with you. The point is that is nothing like what the doomsayers were predicting. Things will be different. Different isn't necessarily bad. There will be some winners and some losers.

The FTSE100 is around where it was a year ago. The £ against the $ is about 4% down on it's average over the past month. Now that the gamblers have cut and run.

I remember the old days when it used to be like that in Africa.

Sky now also predicting a win for leave

Too much information there

ITV now predicting a win for leave
-
Well that's a bit of a shock. After carefully studying the results so far, it's clear that ITV's coverage is way ahead of BBC and Sky. Certainly didn't expect that.

Leicester have decided not to sell their best players
hutch replied to Nordic Saint's topic in The Saints
I'm not sure I would be happy if Saints started chucking 4 year contracts at £100,000 a week at players on the strength of one good season that came pretty much out of nowhere. That's a high risk £20million -
Let me repeat my original comment because you seem to have wandered a bit

That's not the point. It will be different from what it is today, but nobody knows how different it will be. Some people think that is important.

How many member states will there be in the EU 5 years from now? 10 years?
-
The situation as it currently stands isn't one of the options to vote for. We're voting for whether we prefer a changing and unpredictable future in the EU or out of it.

I don't know about you lot, but when I sign a contract, I like to sign it before I start. So if I was signing on, say, 23rd June, it would probably have a 1st July start date. Why on earh do you think Man City, who have already replaced him, would pay him a bonus to not look for another job?

I knew there was a reason for Beckham to jump on the remain bus.

The 4am headline on the BBC News website was that the IMF reports that Brexit will not lead to a recession in the UK. That was changed by 6am when the boss got up. I expect the night shift editor got a rollicking.

Ah OK then, I missed their goals. Are they on YouTube?
-
Apart from the goal against Barcelona in the CL

So we have Iceland (withdrawn), Norway (frozen), Switzerland (withdrawn), Netherlands (sort of) and UK (potentially) all looking to break free, and Albania, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, Turkey, Bosnia and Kosovo all lining up to join. I'm sure that's just a geographic coincidence, and that if we stay there's no risk and nothing at all will change.

It's times like this, a goal down in a major tournament, that we can be glad we've got one of the world's top managers to motivate the team
