  1. According to the stats, Exeter haven't had 1 shot on goal, on or off target.
  2. How do you do that?
  3. Anybody else lost Saints Player? Error#12:network failure (whatever that means)
  4. Happy birthday Eric. Me too.
  5. I didn't know we needed tickets for the Pompey thread. Damned good idea, though.

I just saw the "Saintsations" on SSN. I hope Nicola was watching.
  7. And Chainrai still "owns" the pitch.
  8. Just got the e-mail. I got 2 for the first game against USA in Rustenburg.
  9. No harm in giving Rickie a rest before the cup games. The way he's playing at the moment, he'll probably score from the bench anyway.
  10. I think Sol would have to go to Court first and get a judgement that they do owe him the money first. That won't happen anytime soon.
  11. Administration advisors are not neccessarily the same thing as Administrators. They could be there advising them that they can't do it themselves (absent Court permission), but others could. I would be amazed if it is not under very serious consideration, particularly if there is no agreement to postpone the WU hearing on Wednesday.
  12. The other fake Sheikh tried that with his 10%, but they didn't want them!

And the new one today posted by MB with the Liebherr excavator waiting outsipe FP.
  14. Eric, That statement alone will guarantee that he passes the PL FAPPT test.
  15. Would it be fair to say that Pompey have gone from Burkha to Gurkha? And on that point, the club statement refers to Chainrai in person, not Portpin. Who was the beneficiary of the security, Chainrai or Portpin? If it's Portpin, allegedly a "secretive" shell company registered in BVI, who are the directors, shareholders and ultimate beneficial owners of Portpin? In short, who owns the club? I'm sure today's delegation to the PL will get the answers. AND, if the "Chainrai takeover" is as a result of the security which was registered in January, after the WU petition was issued, what happens if that security is subsequently invalidated, which is a real possibility? All in all, a bit of a mess. I don't think they're any better off.
  16. If it's true that he's only taken FP, not the club as a whole, then that makes more sense. If anybody picks up the scraps for a song from an administrator, they will now have to come to BC to buy back the stadium to play in, and the Israeli-Russian mafia for the adjoining land. Around £20m for the former and £28m for the latter. Cute.
  17. As I see it, he thought he'd "ringfenced" the incoming money. £7m from Sky + ~£10m from transfers in the window = a familiar figure (and all received before the winding-up hearing) When he found that didn't work, and that there's a distinct possibility that HMRC will succeed next week, and that his second security might be ruled invalid, he panicked. This is just a (probably futile) attempt to stave off HMRC, and get his hands on any remaining incoming transfer installments & TV or parachute payments, or player sales in the summer. I really don't think it's property development-related. The stadium and adjoining land is only important because whoever owns the club needs it. Asset prices are still very very depressed, and a cute businessman could make a lot of money with £20m in cash right now. He wants his money. Now. The bit I haven't understood yet is that it's going to need around £30m cash to keep them going until the end of June. Where's that coming from? Certainly not from the turnstiles. And for "he", one could hypothetically read "they"
  18. Hmmmmm
  19. Well, he should be OK with the third part, at least. It seems that this new owner IS a person.

  21. There are lots of Courts, and I suspect PCFC Ltd, Falcondrone and Portpin will feature in many of them in years to come.
  22. A skate?
  23. Not in any way suggesting that it's conected, but nevertheless you might find post #10486 in the "Pompey Takeover Saga" thread interesting as background reading.
  24. I got it wrong
  25. And Grant's got the dilemma of whether to bring on the tea lady or the bog cleaner to sharpen up the attack. They're both up for it, now that they've been paid.
