It's a fairly loosely-kept secret, but I think British Aerospace is secretly involved in the manufacture of fighter jets.

hmmm. Warnock wants to "negotiate" with the Don. In public. This should be fun.

But have you been thinking about taking a hairdressing course, Phil?

Not owned one, but had a 9-3 estate diesel turbo as hire car a couple of years ago. I took it back and changed it, the turbo lag was downright dangerous. Put foot down to pull out into traffic, and nothing happened until the gap I was aiming for had disappeared. Then it took off like a rocket.

This being SaintsWeb n'all, I assume it's OK to vote even though I haven't actually seen the tackle.

Didn't we beat them there in the CCC in '07 or '08? And we beat them at SMS season before last. They'll be ready for us. Nigel will need a different game plan.

The bookies have got us in 3rd place now to win the title. Odds as low as 8/1. Only 44 games to go.

It was only a splinter

Go advanced. It's the 17th or 18th one down from the top

I thought it was 7-1 And FWIW they're currently sitting in a Champions League spot.

I'm trying to help a fellow Saints fan keep his spirits up

Dune New laptop? Windows 7? 64 bit? Win7 64bit IE9 doesn't support Flash, which I think is required for Saints Player. Win7 also has a 32bit version of IE9 installed. Run this and you should be fine.

Wireless "a" "b"& "g" (802.11a or b or g) broadcasts on the 2.4MHz wavelength. "n" (802.11n) broadcasts on 2.4 and 5MHz. Many other devices use 2.4MHz, such as cordless phones, baby monitor alarms, etc. etc. and these all do disrupt the signal. So you get much better reception using 802.11n (needs to be on both the wireless router and on the laptop. We've got a cordless phone, but if we use it, it kills the WiFi network in the house, so it's switched off. A repeater is like another wireless router, set in repeater mode. It picks up the signal, and re-broadcasts it, so you can put it halfway between your router and where you want to receive the signal. I've been told that using a repeater halves the available bandwidth, but it's better than nothing.

We're only 5 points above 17th.

I enjoyed DM's memoirs on taking a p1ss. Good afternoon, chaps, BTW.

I use a repeater, not perfect but OK. Using the "n" standard?
-
That depends on who you support

No doubt they've paid a pretty big premium for the brand. Walcott went on to score a hattrick for England. How many players have done that? And Bale has torn Europe's best sides a new one in the CL. Personally, I think it's a great deal for all concerned. Arsenal get potentially a great player. We lose a player who wasn't really a mainstay of the current first team. We get a HUGE sum of money that wasn't even on the horizon a year ago. We get to concentrate on the job in hand. We can now come for his father again. Apparently he doesn't wash, and doesn't know who his father is.

I did at school. There were 12 of them, IIRC.

If our shaky defence only concedes a dodgy penalty in the 95th minute every game, I'll be happy. And Chaplow didn't hit the post. That was a superb save by Lonergan. Overall a superb performance. We outclassed Leeds. A huge confidence boost for a team already brimming anyway. This season is going to be as much fun as last

I think Hammond & Schneiderlin will both play in almost every game for Saints this season (fitness permitting). But I also think they'll rarely both be on the pitch at the same time. Great performance from Deano today, BTW.
