  1. Wow, those pictures show the extent of their insurmountable problem. You've got dilapidated flashings, leaks, peeling paintwork and exposed cables nailed to the wall. All right next to a publicised media PR event. They will never, ever have the wherewithall to resurrect their stadium, it will continue to crumble around them year by year. It's like taking a step 50 years back in time. No wonder they think they are a still big club.
  2. 'You couldn’t make it up – although someone has! ‘I just glanced at the forum and left. It wasn’t a great post and wasn’t a great spectacle. ‘From there I am on the forum reading all the posts. ‘So just to let Suewhistle know, unfortunately I wasn’t reading the forum. ‘I do know you, so if there’s another hutch in there reading all the posts – it wasn’t me. ‘I also watched Saints the night before draw 0-0 against Stoke in the Premier League. ‘But apparently I had a great weekend away, reading the forum everywhere!’
  3. I've known a few alcoholics in my time. One thing they all have in common is the amount of time they spend denying that they have a drink problem.
  4. Leicester have got a lot to answer for. We're not a top 6 side, and never will be. 7th is our goal, and as we near half way through the season we're only 2 points shy of that. Sure, our entertainment value is below par at the moment, but one thing is for certain and that is that we aren't going to buy a solution to that in January. There is no club out there just sitting waiting to sell us their top-notch premier league standard striker in January. We have proven premier league strikers, but they are woefully off form at the moment. The answer is to get them scoring again. I have no clue how to do that, but I'm not a top notch football manager earning £3million a year. With a bit of patience we will get past this blockage, and we still have a pretty good shot at Europa League football again next year.
  5. What if he's allergic to peanuts?
  6. I think a new ground for them in the next few years is a very real prospect, just not the one they think it will be.
  7. I don't disagree with the principle, it's the application that is wrong. Obviously Luxemburg can't have half an MEP, it would be prefectly reasonable to let them have a whole one, which would still be a skewed but justifiable disproportionality. But why 6? Is it because geographically it's such a big country? I know Cameron is a t055er, but as our representative he went to them at the beginning of this year and told them that if they didn't take a long, hard look at themselves we might walk away and leave them to it. They laughed at him and told him to f**k off. That was when the referendum was lost. (or won, depending on your point of view)
  8. If that was anywhere close to being true then we would not be in the mess that we are today. Using UK members of the European Parliament as a yardstick, we have 73 MEPs for a population of around 64 million. Take our neighbours next door in Ireland, on that "democratic" basis the 4.5 million of them would have 5 MEPs. They actually have 11, so an Irishman gets 2 votes for every one of ours in Europe. Lets be extreme, Malta by population using the UK benchmark, should have half an MEP. They have 6, so each Malteser gets 12 votes for every one of ours. The conspiracy theorists might think that Jean-Claude Juncker was biased, being from Luxembourg an' all. But it really is perfectly rational for all 540,000 Luxemburgers to have 12 times as much voting power as the Brits, isn't it? If it was anywhere even close to being democratic, we would still be in there sorting it out. The EU is built on precisely the same democratic principles as Blatter's FIFA. It's rotten to the core, and past saving.
  9. Isn't that anti-semitic?
  10. I do enjoy a good debate.

    Who am I?

I've always thought you are Friar Tuck
  12. Can somebody help me out here, and remind when was the last time we played free-flowing high-scoring match-winning football during December? I'm only 60 so I can't remember that far back.
  13. If it's offensive output you want, you've come to the right place.
  14. I don't think that comes across the way you meant it. But anyway the point was made that Vectis' statement that date of registration of a charge at Companies House is the same as the date the loan was taken out is nonsense.
  15. Yeah you could tell how much he really wants to be here by reading all those "I really want to stay at Saints and am not interested at all in Manchester United" tweets that he was posting in the summer.
  16. I expect that expired time limits might cause a greater comp!ication unless he is still younger than 24.

    Injury Watch

    We've signed Kemosabe
  18. Long and Jrod will come good. Most strikers go through lean patches, including any that we might buy in January.
  19. He's certainly pișșing off the skates on here, that's for sure.
  20. You don't understand how Saintsweb works. The fair market value of any player is always £10m more than we sold him for.
  21. Fourth
  22. Any news on how that appeal against their fine for cheating (again) is going?
  23. Smart politics.
  24. "Titans" is about right. Mythological characters from ancient history that didn't really exist.
