the echo are right about na not fancying ms too much,its understandable as ms had told ap on returning from a tournament for france in the summer that he wanted to go back to France and if nobody came in for him he was going to let his deal run out and return. Ap had reservations about ms' temperament this season especially after the mk and more specifically Yeovil sendings off, but had a clear the air talk where ms said he would give his all while still here, and ap said he would start with a clean sheet on the disciplinary front. If na is aware of ms' intention he is entitled to be a bit ticked off with him. So when na said he had inherited the best squad in the league, he wasnt aware of ms situation, and certainly couldnt know that rl was going to perform like a drain. Ricky was offered a new contract in the summer by bruno,it was only an extension of his current deal with no salary increase,ap told bruno this might put rickies nose out, but the offer was still put to him. ricky had the hump because he hadnt gone to the club looking for a new deal and thought it was a poor offer. This manifest itself in ricky actively ignoring bruno for the whole swiss trip. ap told him to get his head down and play well and score and he would make sure ricky got a new deal in nov /dec, if this is reason enough for ricky to be abject, then he wont get himself a move anywhere except in to the developement abyss. na wasnt to know any of this when he came and i think he must be very successful in the run up to the window if he wants bruno to back him,or the "best squad in the league" quote may come back to haunt him. Id heard when na was first linked with us that he struggled to make strong decisions at scunny,(think i posted as much) and the reason we played 451/433 today was that na flaked on the decision to drop either chaplow or morgan. we must be braver in our quest for victories, i must confess to being a 442 advocate,and it seems we were more assertive and more of an attacking force when we changed formations. aox is playing well, and.lalana is a shoe in. So its Barney or connolly to partner lambert if we go back to 442 for the home games coming up. I dont see barney and connolly as a pair ,plus, does dc's injury record suggest he can play an active role in the 30 games left?,....history suggests no. And what about guly? dont duck decisions nige, when bruno starts asking questions you better have the answers....more to the point the answers he wants to hear.

I didnt say the management staff were demotivated,it was the ancilliary staff ,physios ,analysts,secretaries,masseurs,kit men,cleaners ,cooks all treated appallingly and banned from eating and mixing with the players, and made not to be part of the football side of things. These people are all really important to the mood /vibe at any TG. of course the mood is mainly down to results ,but there was a great sense of injustice around, and the senior staff were constantly trying to keep moral up everywhere. The new staff who were appointed during the summer were responsible for the separatist "them and us ' mentality, I was told on a daily basis of how it wasnt a comfortable place to work. i was hopefull that had now lifted with ap and his coaches gone,but there is still a resentment to how they were/ are treated. Sorry if that was unclear. LR and DB(who he!) were in cobham today conducting an interview for chief scout. cobham where chelsea train, bit of an obvious place if were nicking one of their staff!!! If you dont believe anything ive ever written on here please believe this,there was never any incident of a fight or a punch thrown by either ap or wd and players,or a fight between any players,unusual for any club!! In fact it was only the atmosphere that permeated between bruno and ap that caused any problems, and that was only the demotivation of the tg staff,which inevitably filtered through to players,but which ap had numerous meetings emphasising the need for sticking together as a group, and not letting any of that affect the seasons only goal...the title. The lads were 100% behind ap and you can see that from the results that followed immediately.I know they are well payed pros who should play for the jersey,but there it is, they DIDNT, for the entire magnificent wilkins era!! Now we ARE playing for na so they are not a bad bunch, and to say there was offfield trouble is obviously somebody trying to justify the sacking for some reason....my thoughts are too obvious to print!!!! Its a poor briefing if its true,done by somebody who isnt very media savvy and badly advised by their pr team,only if its true though. On another matter, has there been any verification or news on the chief scout info i put on here, i know he's gone, but have we got another one in, as the window is approaching? Ive posted before that Marcus' daughter is not entirely enamoured by nicolina and how he positioned himself so closely to Marcus wealth ,culminating in the amount of references to himself in the eulogy. I wouldnt assume that the family are as keen as the great man was....who could be in such a short space of time,after all it was nc's idea to get Marcus to buy, as opposed to a family decision,and contrary to some opinion on here, I am very happy that he did ,only a fool wouldnt be! My only objections are to the way nicolina has behaved, to other clubs,to us,to staff at the ground, to staff at the tg,to the national press.the interview in the Times said alot to me last year. I know we can say that it is early in his tenure but that doesnt mean I have to like this behaviour. I cannot remember which game it was ,but I know for a fact that Pardew was told to play him in one of the final games at SMS last season I know how disliked he is by virtually all the clubs he has dealt with and he has meddled in transfers and loans,If it was his money then fine,the game is full of "enlightened despots "who own clubs and do that, but it wasnt, isnt and never will be his money,hence the stalling on finance now.
