the echo are right about na not fancying ms too much,its understandable as ms had told ap on returning from a tournament for france in the summer that he wanted to go back to France and if nobody came in for him he was going to let his deal run out and return. Ap had reservations about ms' temperament this season especially after the mk and more specifically Yeovil sendings off, but had a clear the air talk where ms said he would give his all while still here, and ap said he would start with a clean sheet on the disciplinary front. If na is aware of ms' intention he is entitled to be a bit ticked off with him. So when na said he had inherited the best squad in the league, he wasnt aware of ms situation, and certainly couldnt know that rl was going to perform like a drain. Ricky was offered a new contract in the summer by bruno,it was only an extension of his current deal with no salary increase,ap told bruno this might put rickies nose out, but the offer was still put to him. ricky had the hump because he hadnt gone to the club looking for a new deal and thought it was a poor offer. This manifest itself in ricky actively ignoring bruno for the whole swiss trip. ap told him to get his head down and play well and score and he would make sure ricky got a new deal in nov /dec, if this is reason enough for ricky to be abject, then he wont get himself a move anywhere except in to the developement abyss. na wasnt to know any of this when he came and i think he must be very successful in the run up to the window if he wants bruno to back him,or the "best squad in the league" quote may come back to haunt him. Id heard when na was first linked with us that he struggled to make strong decisions at scunny,(think i posted as much) and the reason we played 451/433 today was that na flaked on the decision to drop either chaplow or morgan. we must be braver in our quest for victories, i must confess to being a 442 advocate,and it seems we were more assertive and more of an attacking force when we changed formations. aox is playing well, and.lalana is a shoe in. So its Barney or connolly to partner lambert if we go back to 442 for the home games coming up. I dont see barney and connolly as a pair ,plus, does dc's injury record suggest he can play an active role in the 30 games left?,....history suggests no. And what about guly? dont duck decisions nige, when bruno starts asking questions you better have the answers....more to the point the answers he wants to hear.
