Cortese has gone to the trouble of getting Pochettino and basically thrown him to the wolves straight off the bat. Appoints him the week of the club's best two results of the season, on a Friday before the weekend so fans will still be raw on Monday, and then leaves him to do the press conference on his own with a translator? Doesn't even try to sweeten the deal with a new signing? Doesn't sound like a manager getting very much support to me. Sounds eerily Poortvliet.

Just like to point out that even if Cortese wanted Pochettino in this is the absolute worst time he could have done it. The guy has to play the teams in fifth, first and second in his first four games, he'll be overseeing our first streak of defeats in months and the fans will still be chanting for Adkins. Just complete insanity on every level, Cortese has knobbled his new toy straight out of the blocks.
