Its a standard design, you take off the roof on one end and extend backwards and upwards. The stadium was designed with the ability to do that if and when it was needed. That said I'd like to see the bridge over the railway line finally sorted out properly and a better matchday experience in the area surrounding the ground, Saints really need to do everything to maximise their income to mix with the bigger boys, getting fans to spend money at the club and its facilities is one small way to help do that.

Something was up with Djnepo last night... he didn't look rusty at all, he looked like he'd never played a game of football in his life before, normally he'd try taking on players, but every time he got the ball even in a forward position he'd just pass the ball straight away, this and 90% of his passes seemed to be overhit or misplaced completely something very odd was going on....

I don't think you actually understand the financials behind player purchases. The players purchase price is amortised over the length of their contract. We turned a pretty good profit on all 3 of those. The profit is based on what the players value is on the books at the time of sale (which depreciates over the course of the contract), not what was paid for him initially.

I wouldn't begrudge JWP leaving, he's put a stint in, it's just frustrating when clubs in and around us take our players. Man U/Liverpool/Chelsea and to some extent Spurs, yep, the player is furthering their career, I get wanting to better yourself... but your Everton's/Villas etc, what's the point (apart from more dosh and getting out of the current car crash at Saints) Whatever happens, ICM Stellar Sports must be rubbing their hands with glee at the massive windfall they'll be getting from both moves!
