I can't help getting the impression you read the whole post and got more and more frustrated as you couldn't find anything to disagree with. Eventually you got to the final six word and couldn't believe your luck that you had at last found something to get offended about.

Actually, I think the riots damage his cause. Imagine huge demonstrations across the country without any trouble, that would benefit him enormously, but as soon as it becomes a riot then the opposite is true.

I see someone has got a 26 month sentence and a bite on the arse from a Police dog for basically having a drunken pop at the Police. It does seem incredibly harsh but on the other hand the stiff sentences have nipped in the bud the riots, thats for sure. I look forward to seeing what sentences the two Muslim guys from Manchester Airport get.

No, but I did hear him condemn the violence. As for the quote, I'll answer it like this, I don't think he should shy away from raising very real concerns about an issue where a huge number of people share those concerns.

Small protest in Bournemouth, about 150 outside Roundhouse hotel where immigrants are housed. Also a counter-protest on the other side of the road. No arrests and people dispersed about 11pm. Looks like the very harsh sentences handed out this week have done the trick, even the morons realise it simply not worth it. However, the problem is not going away, the new Labour government means even more immigrants coming in, we have no idea what people are coming into our country. IMO, this will all kick off again, sadly.
