Certainly not in the form of a cheque.

Often cracks me up some of the things I see in the fridge at work. All time classic is the boiled egg with a dollop of salad cream in packaging from Tesco. Lazy fucker.
-
Agreed, that was excellent. Some commentators have far too much to say for themselves, looking at you Peter Drury.

My dear old Mum always used to bang on about life expectancy reducing at some point in the future, she was spot on.

Batch cooking for the freezer makes a lot of sense. For the first time in many years, I won't be upgrading my iPhone, there's so little improvement in the tech now I'm going to stick with the phone I've got and find a sim only deal and save £35 per month.

Adam Blackmore's commentary for the goal is simply glorious.

There you go, I don't agree with Farage on everything 😜

Question about 50th anniversary shirts from DHGate
iansums replied to Midfield_General's topic in The Saints
My shirt arrived yesterday morning, good timing, quality is not too bad but it is very bright yellow. -
Read somewhere that the lifespan for EV batteries is proving to be longer than expected.

'by the evening of Wednesday 22nd April' apparently

Highly unlikely, I agree, but they will both need to go for it and pressure can do strange things.

The Starmer Years - Can The New Broom Sweep Clean?

I'm looking forward to Farage as PM who by all accounts has a superb broom. I'd even vote for him if I was allowed. -
The Starmer Years - Can The New Broom Sweep Clean?

I read somewhere that the previous US ambassador that Mandleson replaced had the ear of Trump and was widely respected by all political parties. Absolutely no need for Starmer to make a change. -

Ordered mine on April 10th, still waiting.................. -
No romance in the game nowadays

And that will be the case. The whole process does put you into panic mode, I ended up near the back of Block 549, not really where I wanted.

Apart from giving SOG the opportuntiy to jizz over his keyboard every few hours, it must be the most pointless thread ever.

I simply cannot understand how Drury is lead commentator on Sky, he is fucking awful. Every goal bound chance he shouts “and (insert name)”, drives me mental.
-
Well it keeps the Reform thread going I suppose.

I don't know. What I do know is that sadoldgit is indeed a sad old git.

Is does beg the question 'who wears the trousers in the trousers household?'

It's the same as BLM. Very few can disagree that 'black lives matter', but the BLM movement is far more than that.

Many companies offer a salary sacrifice EV scheme, our company does the Octopus one, quite a few people here have used it. Before a long trip I always charge to 100%, nothing wrong with doing that on the odd occasion. Strangely, Polestar recommend a maximum (regular) charge of 90% rather than 80% like most other manufacturers.
-
Added to the fact that they're a dream to drive, especially if you have the 'one pedal drive' IMO (not all do). Public charging is expensive but often you only need to top it up by a small amount to get you home, with fast charging this can take just a few minutes.
-
I worked out that my energy costs would be a third of my fuel costs. If it’s a company car then BIK savings are massive. I’m lucky in that I can charge at work. I saved about £350 per month in total changing to a Polestar 2 from a Mazda 6 three years ago.
