  1. Farage, Badenoch, Starmer or even Corbyn as PM are all totally irrelevant to what Trump does as President.
  2. Just corrected it for you.
  3. To be honest, I’m not sure Rachel does either.
  4. Some more good news, the number of hospital admissions for flu has peaked, it was not as bad as anticipated and less than previous years. Well done again Rachel.
  5. It is good news, particuarly pleased with how my pension and ISA are doing, mostly self-funded of course unlike the public sector. Remember though that the FTSE is very much reflective of global markets which is why when you see a big drop elsewhere the FTSE will mirror it. Good news all the same, well done Rachel.
  6. And good to see Bournemouth lose again.
  7. My sympathies. A few years ago our oven packed up on Xmas day, luckily we relocated everything to the Mother-in-Law who lived less than 5 minutes away. Probably the only time I was pleased she lived so close.
  8. Maybe so, as I said before it’s a made up word IMO. Thankfully you were able to correct me after consulting the UN.
  9. And I’m Islamophobic…….whatever that means 😳
  10. I think that goes both ways to be fair.
  11. Sir Ralph's post earlier, couldn't be arsed to quote it. Despite all the debate, none of us really change our views, some of us are on the right, others on the left and then there's Whelk who's in the middle calling everyone a 'cunt'.
  12. To be honest, if I walked through a hospital or a council offices, I would get a much more favourable view of the current government. It just highlights the difference between the public and private sector.
  13. I think he made it home for Christmas.
  14. Ok, one meal a day then.
  15. Mass deportation centres to be run by the army, two meals a day, no benefits and no ability to leave the centre. The alternative is a paid for flight back to where they came from. Conditions need to be made harsh so they get the message that they’re not welcome. Another alternative is to cut they’re goolies off.
  16. That article is more to do with retailers profits than the oil companies. They have seen big rises in costs like many other businesses. However it is always the case sadly that they are quick to put prices up but very slow to bring them down.
  17. I see that after a pause for a few days, 800 illegals entered the country by boat on Saturday. Is it ok to post this, or am I being too negative? 🫢
  18. Who said ‘everything is getting worse’? I certainly didn’t. Any improvements in public sector stats are more than welcome and I’ve stated on here before that Streeting in particular is doing a good job. My comments were about the economy which of course is critical to fund all the public services.
  19. Labour have increased the debt, flatlined growth and punished small businesses and much of the private sector with increased costs and taxes. Apart from that, they’re doing a great job.
  20. Very true, start early even with small amounts. As Martin Lewis would say, personal finance should be part of the school curriculum.
  21. Not me, I agree that the triple lock needs to be scrapped even though it would be detrimental to me personally.
  22. The government could have given business a boost in the last two budgets but no, welfare and public sector took priority. BoE will most likely cut just 0.25%
  23. Yet you continue to engage with him.
