Demonstration for Swansea game- Time and place!!

Tonights events make the banner easier: Wotte a Lowed of Rubbish -
But does this mean he has anything to do with Wotte's appointment? Given what you have said in another thread I hope not!
-
About as long as the club then at this rate.
-
I guess you can't elaborate FF which is pity (as JP used to say when we didn't score) as its time the gloves came off and people really knew the truth behind what is going on at our club.
-
I don't believe they would want to see the club slip into administration....nor would Lowe, he loses the value of his shares, so who gives in first?
-
The leaking of this if true coupled with the Sale article leads me to wonder if there is something going on behind the scenes - is there brinksmanship at play here?
-
You also need to factor in an increased number of home games since relegation - 23 as opposed to 19 in the Premiership.
-
The princely sum of £1!

That's a good shout, I also had 4-3 at 100-1 that day so for me it was as good as it gets!

would you accept administration if it meant Lowe left?
Katalinic replied to The Fat Controller's topic in The Saints
That's a tough one. Lowe is a disaster, administration would be equally disasterous. I would like to think we can get rid of one and avoid the other but ultimately this could depend on whether Lowe is prepared to do business with "the enemy". -
I think the money was there but it certainly wasn't spent wisely - a large amount was spent on paying off former managers! The Academy began to bear fruit after we were relegated and again, if we had hung on for one more season in the Prem we would not be in the mess we are in now as we could have integrated the Walcotts, Bales etc into the existing structure. The fact is Lowe, post cup final and particularly in our relegation season, bought in a large amount of average players when it was a small amount of real quality players that we lacked - I also believe that this is the reason we lost Strachan. The money was there John B, it was just wasted.
-
I understand that they don't own the Ricoh but rent it from the council making it difficult to generate income - they also effectively have no asset base. In effect they are a "football club" in name only. Ironic really that we do own our ground and yet that is the millstone around our neck - not sure which situation is worse, ours or Cov's.
-
Lack of a large amount of money since we were relegated from the Prem would be nearer the truth and it was Lowe who oversaw that. We did compete until 2003 but it was post Cup Final that Lowe lost the plot, we could have been one of those rich city clubs if only we'd still have been in the top flight when the new TV deal was negotiated.
-
Yes, I suppose it could look like that in the world of PR.....but history tells us Lowe likes to stick his nose where he shouldn't into football matters. I would pose your question back at you....how do you know what sort of talk it was......unless...???
-
A football chairman shouldn't be anywhere near the players giving pep talks - it totally undermines the manager unless the chairman doesn't think the manager is capable of motivating them (or thinks he can do a better job being a football expert) .....hmmm.
-
There a quite a few unrealistic candidates in terms of £££'s so for me the best realistic one is Paul Tisdale - when he took over at Exeter he inherited a club that had just come out of administration and was a mess (so he'd know what he was letting himself in for!) - they play good football and he has been successsful there on a small budget. From what I have seen he is strong minded and articulate and of course is an ex-Saint.
-
Yes - Poortvliet tries to use the same set up and tactics at home but because away teams set their stall up differently they don't work - and he has no Plan B - does that answer your question?
-
I agree, MLT is the only person capable of truly uniting the fanbase.

Malcolm Webster also disappeared without any mention on the OS. -

It' simple - Lowe has no idea how to treat people. -
Are we the only team who can't sack our manager, regardless of the results?
Katalinic replied to Mr X's topic in The Saints
Totally different circumstances and a different era - he didn't have a boardroom circus going on around him for starters nor was the club on the brink of administration. Coupled with that he was a competent manager/coach/motivator/tactician - I am afraid I do not think JP fits any of these descriptions. -
Like many of our young players he could do with a few months on loan at a lower division side, get some experience and make the mistakes at the expense of loan club - unfortunately the Championship is not a good place to learn your trade (or against Man Utd!) and certainly not when there are 6 or 7 other players in the team and therefore the same situation - hopelessly exposed time after time today and Utd never really needed to go up a gear.
-
You are re-writing history again - Crouch was not responsible for 81% of revenue being spent on the squad - he was only Chairman for a few months FFS - remind me, who signed Rasiak on a long contract and massive wages???
-
lol, deluded....what other gems did he come up with?
