Do you realise how ridiculous this statement is. The whole point of Brexit was to give the UK Government control over areas that were previously with the EU. What they did with that was down to them. If the sweaties voted for independence & then elected a Tory government, they’d look pretty silly claiming they “didn’t vote for that independence “, because they did. George Galloway wanted the UK out of the EU, as did Bill Cash. So what “detail” could the leave side give. Had Remain won, a Tory future inside the EU would have looked a lot different than a Jeremy Corbyn future inside it. This Government has a massive majority, Parliament has a massive remain majority. If they wanted to rejoin the SM or CU they could, if they wanted free movement for EU citizens they could do that, they could even start negotiating terms for rejoining the EU. It’s your side of the argument keeping us out of these “wonderful” things, not Nige, or the “thick twats who didn’t know what they were voting for”. Perhaps you should ask yourself if that side really believe Brexit was that bad, seeing as they’ve absolutely no intention of doing anything other than tinkering around the edges.

If we played Adam Armstrong as a 9 & then hoofed the ball up to him in the air every game, would people be blaming him for not winning headers or blaming the tactics. AM should be told to hoof the ball every single time he gets it, or be replaced, it’s as simple as that. It’s fucking madness bordering on arrogance to play out from the back with him in nets. It’s not so much not beating 10 men, but the manner we went about chasing the game. Same ball recycling, wide men not getting behind people, one pass too many, and more infuriating, naive stupid fouls given away at the end. Headless, naive & predictable. We played where they let us play. When we got in to dangerous areas they snuffed us out pretty easily.

Bloody helll the happy clappers seem to be overlooking this. We weren’t even 1 down when they went down to 10. It was a game where we had nearly 80% of the game & played an hour against 10, yet we never really looked like winning it. Yet that’s “encouraging”?

You don’t get many chances to take a point or 3 from one of the top half sides, when you get that chance you need to take it. Make no mistake, this was a massive opportunity & we fucked it up. We played well until they scored, but second half they adapted and we didn’t. Same moves over and over again, naive in the extreme (particularly in the last 10). We got easier to play against the longer the game went on. Subs were disjointed imo and we got what we deserved. Fuck all. With a half decent striker, we’d have scored today. BBD missed 2 pretty easy chances, nothing Armstrong did convinces me he’ll be any different than last premier league campaign. God knows where the goals are coming from because the way we defend, we’ll need to score quite a few to stay up. Frustrating.

Never mind, keep playing the same way. Trust the process or some such pony. I’d imagine he’d get more of a bollocking if he hoofed it forward most times he got it. We play this way & will continue to play this way regardless of any fuck ups.
