  1. Dear God. How on earth can anyone still defend the fraud.
  2. Nothing is ever his fault in your eyes. You jumped the shark weeks ago
  3. Yeah, agreed. In normal conditions they’d be pissing it.
  4. More excuses. We’ve got a German international centre half he won’t play. We’ve got an experienced premier league full back he won’t play. There’s 2 that should be out there. There’s a reason we’re one of the worst sides in premier league history and it’s not the players. Far worse squads than ours have put up a far greater attempt at staying up. This is pathetic, both the side and the people sticking up for one of the worst mangers in top flight history.
  5. Fucking THB, centre half fannying with the tackle. Take their bloke, Wood and the ball out. FFS
  6. Worrying 😂😂 Andrew Neil put it better, “Starmer's talentless government will stumble from failure to failure while hastening our decline. Nigel Farage's Reform will be the only winner” The people’s army are on the march and the only thing that can stop them is Starmer running a competent administration. No doubt 🤡 like you will continue to blame Nige & the voters, but the fact is if Starmer continues to fuck up, the rise of Reform will be his fault. “Seven pillars of growth, six milestones, five missions , three foundation stones” What a load of old pony.
  7. If that’s the case why did Lego start him first game of the season? You don’t start a player you didn’t really want in that game.
  8. Who voted for Alister Campbell?
  9. It doesn’t need fucking saying.
  10. Russell Martin on Jack Stephens: "I don't need to tell him off or explain to him the importance of his role as captain”. Russell Martin asked how he is coping: "I genuinely am enjoying it. It's the best feeling ever when you come through a spell like this and perspective is really important, I am doing a job that I love."
  11. His press conference pony is as bad as Jones’, yet because he’s a hipster he gets away with it. Fucking blagger of the highest order. The king is fucking bollock naked.
  12. “We’re not here to try and grind out results” Todays pony from the deluded twat. What an arrogant cock.
  13. Alan Biggs, who is close to Sheffield Utd, saying he can see him going back there in Jan….They need someone who can play down the left, and down the middle. Perhaps he should tell Lego the second bit.
  14. THB should have a word with his future father in law, see what he makes of RussBall. Don’t think he’ll be impressed with him being such a pussy & not giving Lego some clog either. Can you imagine Keane sucking up like this
  15. Hardly crime of the century
  16. They had a squad just as bad (if not worse) when they got back up. They even got battered 9 in that season. They stayed up because their managers didn’t think they were the reincarnation of Pep, and played proper football. What they are now is a direct result of that first season back in the top flight. Tactically they did what was right for the club, not what would boost the managers ego.
  17. Had to be in France this week for work. Got lucky with the timing and was able to see the great man one last time. What a showman, 82 and played nearly 3 hours without a break. Classic after classic (only 2 of the 40 odd songs he did were from recent years). Voice was a lot better than I thought it would be, maybe there’s some sort of AI involved. Although it wasn’t as good as his peak, and it does sound aged, it was only really during “maybe I’m amazed” that I thought “you shouldn’t be doing this one”. Highlights were “Live & let die”, which I’ve never really liked, “Get back”, and “got to get you into my life”. Surprise was him player a great guitar solo on a cover of “foxy lady”. Played multiple instruments and has some great musicians with him, including a proper brass section. I thought they’d be a load of oldies there but there really wasn’t, most were 40-50 year olds, with a lot of youngsters and some families. Probably only about 10% of my age range. The French absolutely loved him, and he came across incredibly well. Funny, happy and seemed genuinely pleased to be giving us a show. When he came back on for the final time and started with the “once there was a way, to get back homeward” from “Golden Slumbers”, it got quite emotional, as people knew this would be the end and they’ll probably never him him live again. The reception he got at the end made the hairs on your neck stand up. My colleague, not a fan by any means, said it was the best performance they’d seen from anyone. He’s in England next week, if anyone gets the chance, go and see him, you will not be disappointed….
  18. It’s more nuanced than that. I’ve no doubt Lego tells them once they’ve broken the press or have an overload on to play positively like they did for the Liverpool goal. But the mindset is clearly, keep the ball and more possession cuts down the opponents chances to score. There’s no doubt they’ve been told to try and break the press by mincing about at the back to shift the opposition into a poor defensive shape. The result of Lego’s coaching and instructions are players first instinct is to keep the easy ball to maintain possession. When under pressure players heads get scrambled and they don’t take chances. The upshot of this is players stop making runs ahead of them, as they never get the ball, and a vicious downward spiral of boring safe Lego football entails. Long ball sides were the same. Managers didn’t tell them to hoof the ball aimlessly, but to hit the channels or hit the big man and run off him. Whatever happens they weren’t to get caught in possession in their own half, so what ended up happening was they just lumped it whenever in any doubt. I’m sure wimbledon players would have defended Dave Bassett, saying he didn’t tell them to hoof it aimlessly, but at its worse that was the outcome. It’s the culture Lego creates with his ridiculous take on the game but they’d soon be talking about the breath of fresh air the new man has brought to proceedings once Lego is gone.
  19. Absolutely spot on. As well as his 2 former players and HIS choice of club captain, there’s also his former room mate Fraser. There’s absolutely no doubt in my mind that’s a Lego signing as well. It’s too easy for the few still supporting him to claim he’s been given a poor squad, and whilst signings aren’t solely down to the manager nowadays , he has some input. Mind you some of his supporters are losing so much credibility, it wouldn’t be a surprise if they claim the ex players and his buddy signing were a coincidence. What he does have sole responsibility for is, picking the captain, deciding the tactics, picking the side, making substitutions, coaching players to be better, cutting out errors. In every one, he’s failed miserably. What has he actually done ok in, which aspects of his job role has he performed to an acceptable level? Unfortunately, waving at the crowd, cuddling players, pulling a fit bird , grooming a beard, and looking handsome on the touchline aren’t exactly high up premier league manager’s list of KPI’s. If they were Davie Moyes would be fucked.
  20. You may get someone to take it off your hands, won’t be cheap, but if you offer them somewhere between £100-£150 you never know…
  21. Worked out well for them hasn’t it.
  22. Unfortunately 😂, I couldn’t make it last night as I’m working away. I sold my ticket on, so some poor mug got rinsed. Can't comment on the game because of this, but it didn’t come as shock to me that we appear to have given a couple of goals away playing RussBall. The shock would have been if we hadn’t, and unfortunately that’s not a joke or a cheap dig at the Lego headed cock, but reality. Can anyone honestly say we won’t do the same again Sat?
  23. That’s so obvious it doesn’t need writing. Martin has better PR and a band of defenders & press that want to show their superiority over the plebs. They understand the “process”, they have the football intelligence to comprehend his tactical approach. Unlike the dinosaurs who look at irrelevant things like, results, they appreciate what he’s trying to build. They’ve drunk the Lego Kool-aid, there’s no helping them.
  24. You’ve got it back to front. They did decide there was no clear and obvious error, so they went with on field decision, which was no goal. Had the goal been given on field, they’d probably have said that wasn’t a clear and obvious error as well.
