  1. We’re hoping to go to NZ in Nov, I’ll look out for them…
  2. Refusing to play for the U21’s was a missed opportunity to finally get some decent coaching this season.
  3. I refuse to believe Lego head is that incompetent & idiotic that he over looks a German international on the basis that Stephens & Bednarek played for us in the championship, especially when his job was on the line. Surely he’d have given him a cup game or place on the bench. The bloke must have really stunk the place out during the week to receive the treatment he did, he must have been pretty toxic. I guess we’ll find out the truth in the next few weeks, if he plays to his potential and settles into the side, then it’ll be another stick to beat the Lego headed twat with. I suspect he won’t, and he’ll ship out at the end of the season with, at best, a handful of games under his belt
  4. Fucking hell, Blackmore doesn’t half come out with some shite. Nobody is writing him off or not giving him a chance. The reaction is pretty positive from what I’ve seen. BBC Radio Solent sports editor Adam Blackmore has urged supporters to give Juric "a chance". “People will want to quote his bad spell at Roma or say he hasn't managed in England before”
  5. I thought the centre halves were a bit more aggressive when the ball was knocked up. They seemed to get there quicker and be a bit tighter when the Fulham players had the ball with their backs to goal. We certainly looked better at the ugly side of the game today. I’m hoping Ivan gets hold of Downes and gives him some defensive nous, because he still floats about too much for me. If he can get a tune out of big Les & knock Lego ball out of the wing backs, we’ll be decent defensively with some threat out wide. The big problem is clearly the CF. Maybe we can find a way of getting Archer into the channels isolating the centre halves wider, because he looks lost if we’re going to knock it into his feet. I’m not convinced TP is the answer, he’s become a cult hero because he’s the Anti Lego ball option, but I think deep down we all know he’s pretty shite
  6. The ref did, but I reckon that’s why var couldn’t get involved.
  7. Frigging under 21 manager as well. Shocking indictment of Lego, and his ridiculous “process”. What was it he said “I’m not here to grind out results”. The Nods who defended him must be feeling very stupid now.
  8. I thought it was a foul, but probably outside the area.
  9. That’s grinding out an away result. Proper performance with that squad and players. Had that Lego headed cock not been so arrogant and played the right way, we’d have 3 or 4 more points now. You can bet your life Marco Silva won’t be praising our “style”. Small steps, but it’s taken a youth team coach to fucking take them. Ramsdale man of the match, closely followed by the 3 centre halves. Big Les did more in that half an hour than the previous knob got out of him all season. Clearly AA needs to fuck off, he’s horrendous. Nowhere near good enough. We should have given him the Billy Sharp treatment. Not saying we’ll stay up, but we looked like a proper relegation battling team at last…
  10. Proper defensive performance for once. But limited going forward, Dibling been off it for a couple of games now (which happens with youngsters) and AA is fucking pony. Hopefully we can stay in the game, defending properly, before getting TP, Lallana & Archer on to give it a go in the last 20.
  11. Based on what? Suga hasn’t been starting, manning has. Armstrong never plays down the middle (if that is where he’s playing) & the captain has changed. Picking the best available players, in a coherent formation is a change from the previous 🤡
  12. Lego has demoralised the fan base to such an extent that we’re now cheering goal kicks. Nobody thought it would be easy, but from the very first game of the season it became apparent that our managers vanity project was only heading one way.
  13. You know exactly what’s going to happen. Every mistake, every loss, the posters that supported Martin will be banging the same old tune, “its the players”, “not Russ’ fault”, “cant coach this lot”, Of course, “scar tissue” won’t be an issue, that’s healed already. Fulham away, piece of piss, can’t believe he hasn’t turned it round yet…
  14. Great point. You cannot tell me our defenders can’t benefit from being coached properly. From the outside, we seem to have a lackadaisical approach to the defensive side of the game and only want to do the nice part. Hopefully this new guy will change the culture round the group and get rid of the ridiculous love in the previous manager had with the players.
  15. Lego head has well and truly fucked us. We might catch Ipswich, but we ain’t catching 2 others. Had Mr “I’m not here to grind out results” ground out another 3 or 4 points I’d say it was possible, but there’s no chance unless somebody suddenly does a Saganowski and has a remarkable run of scoring.
  16. Fucking Blackmore shit himself when he had to ask Lego a mildly awkward question. From the look of this bloke he’s going to be gibbering wreck in the after match interview. I don’t know anything about the bloke, but I’m confident he won’t be any worse than the last one, and there’s no way it can be as boring….
  17. 😂😂 I think the point went over Aintclevers head 😂😂 #dopeymiddleagedperson GS must be referring to the fact they need a Campbell type figure to manage expectations and the announcement this week, not “communicating this sort of thing” from the off as Aintclever seems to think. New Labour were in Government for 12 of the 14 years which the ombudsman mentioned, they clearly didn’t need a Campbell figure to communicate the pissing off, they had the real one. It’s pandering to the moaners that’s caught them out. GS is right. Campbell/ Ingram wouldn’t have let them expose themselves in opposition by posing with “pledges”, and both would have rolled the pitch for this weeks announcement…
  18. Some of our Nods need to as well.
  19. That wasn’t what Liz Kendall said yesterday, she didn’t say the say couldn’t afford it or that due to a fiscal black hole they made the difficult decision to prioritise other causes. She specifically rejected the principle that they were owed compo (correctly in my view). She rejected the ombudsman’s recommendation on the basis that most women knew about the rise in age and the fact they hadn’t received letters was insignificant . She said, “These two facts — that most women knew the state pension age was increasing and that letters are not as significant as the ombudsman says — as well as other reasons, have informed our conclusion that there should be no scheme of financial compensation to 1950s-born women in response to the ombudsman's report.” Theres no new facts that have emerged since Raynor, Starmer and others promised to right this perceived wrong. It’s not the financial situation that’s changed, it’s their principle of whether these birds were owed compo or not. Not a good look and again the issue has been poorly managed. …
  20. There wasn’t poor communication, a report found that in 2006 some 90% of affected women knew about the changes. You’ve done exactly what labour were doing, having a cheap shot at the Tories. That's why they’re getting the clog they deserve over this issue, it was a non issue they turned into a stick to beat them with. An own goal. for a few more votes
  21. Refreshing to see us getting crosses in & showing some urgency when chasing the game. Far better than Legoball, and damning of him and his “process”. Proper set up and proper game management for the situation. Suga made a difference, good to see him getting by people and crossing the ball. Dibling off tonight, Manning did ok, but he’s one still playing with the Lego straight jacket on. Downes needs some coaching imo, and the sooner we get Ramsdale back in nets the better. Looked better without Armstrong as well. Tall Paul a mixed bag, and Archer isolated. I can’t see how we can fit Dibling and MF into the side if we want to play those 2 in the same side. Downes just isn’t good enough defensively to protect the centre halves alone, so we need to play 3 or a substandard DM like Smallbone or even Manning in there. The new bloke may get a song out of the Chelsea lad, but we’re really poor against the ball in the midfield. We’re still shite, but we can grind out some results with that attitude and set up. There’s no doubt we’ll be better off long term abandoning the ridiculous Lego project.
  22. They said anything to get elected, even though they didn’t really need to. Not many people will have sympathy for this old birds, but it plays into the narrative that they are liars and are going back on promises. You would have thought oppositions would have learnt from the Lib/Dems tuition fee debacle.
  23. This bloke will do for me.
