I’m sure ‘reputation management’ is the sort of thing Rasmus would be knowledgeable about and provide an interesting talk on. Really no point in looking at Delap and thinking what might have been had we signed him. Ipswich have an attacking intent, and a manager who seems to motivate players to fulfil potential, possibly playing above themselves. Had Delap joined us he’d have looked like a labouring carthorse up front with our Legoball style, and we’d be bemoaning another £20m on a City kid going down the pan.
