See your point, but the problem is now it is no longer just Pinnacle and the FL in negotiations. Regardless of whether the FL and Pinnacle are playing a game of hard-ball, it could be that the Swiss Group, or more likely, Jackson, blinks first and agrees to the FL's terms. Then lo and behold we start next season with -25 points, Jackson as our leader, and Peter Reid as manager.
At least if Pinnacle were left to negotiate on their own with the FL, there may be half a chance of finding a compromise to the benefit of our football club. As it stands, the FL know damned well that Pinnacle have others breathing down their necks, which means they have bugger all chance of getting the FL to compromise.
