  1. Going back through the annals of time... - playing Preston off the park last season. Couldn't see a hope in hell of us going down after that game. - Derby play-off. OK we lost, but great comeback and great atmosphere. - Camara Norwich. - FA Cup Final - FA Cup Semi-final at Villa Park - Beating Spurs in 3rd round of cup - First match at St. Mary's - Matty in last minute at the Dell - A spur of the moment trip up to Boro to see us win with Marian and Beats both scoring - Matty's 2 goals v Newcastle - For some reason, beating Charlton at Selhurst Park on Dec 29th 1989. Matty, Rodney, Russell Osman the scorers. I even remember the scorers for Charlton; Rob Lee and Steve Mackenzie. - Liverpool 4-1 at Dell - Keegan's greatest goal that never was against United - Vague memories of Stevie Moran Many, many, many great days out and memories supporting the Saints, unfortunately I have missed out many of those in this list (memory is not quite what it was!).
  2. See your point, but the problem is now it is no longer just Pinnacle and the FL in negotiations. Regardless of whether the FL and Pinnacle are playing a game of hard-ball, it could be that the Swiss Group, or more likely, Jackson, blinks first and agrees to the FL's terms. Then lo and behold we start next season with -25 points, Jackson as our leader, and Peter Reid as manager. At least if Pinnacle were left to negotiate on their own with the FL, there may be half a chance of finding a compromise to the benefit of our football club. As it stands, the FL know damned well that Pinnacle have others breathing down their necks, which means they have bugger all chance of getting the FL to compromise.
