If we dont get through the qualifying rounds of Europe ......
CB Saint replied to bender's topic in The Saints
Didn't Les cover this in his interview - apparently we are not lobbing in bodies to prevent just this. Trying to find the right balance between squad depth and a lot of unhappy campers not getting a game -
mental, just mental.

quite. As daft as we may think the law is, it is still the law of the land. If you don't want to adhere to these laws then don't live their. BTW how has Dubai Phil and Eric of Arabia avoided justice for so long

So they should, MU have got the best of that deal £49m for a player who scored 18 goals in three years. Who comes with an attitude and a t wat of an agent thrown in for free. -

So, what do we do if no one meets our valuation? Do we keep him and accept that next year we will have to sell for 12-15m or do we go back to the table and accept £20m now -

Do you now understand the futility of doing a open forum Q&A with the fans?

Angelo Ogbonna - Another player we have missed out on

Finding it hard to get upset about the failure of a bid I wasn't aware of for a player I have never heard of. -
tax relief has been around on buy to let for decades, what changed was that interest rates fell to historic lows which meant that buy to let was the best option for investment returns, hence the increase. If you turned off the relief all at once, the potential impact on the housing market would be significant. As in all things, it is better to wean people off slowly. This tax relief will be removed within this parliament

Whilst factually you are right regarding the National Debt, to lay the blame at the door of the Tories is incorrect and just party politics. If you are left with an economy running a huge deficit, short of stopping spending altogether of course the national debt is going to go up. The National Debt is the symptom, the deficit is the cause - therefore if you want to apportion blame you have to look at the causes of the deficit. Given the state of the global economy which has restricted our ability to raise income from tax receipts, the only way to reduce the deficit was by spending cuts. You bemoan the scale of the spending cuts yet criticize the lack of deficit reduction - you cannot have both.

Some of you must have far too much time on your hands Please go outside more

They did restrict tax relief on buy to let mortgages and I suspect that it will be removed altogether before too long. That will make buy to let a less attractive proposition.

Stop. Seriously, just stop.

Limited company contractor are getting the shaft dividend tax credits abolished and the employment allowance removed for sole director / sole employee companies

Total supposition on my part, however It would seem strange that the CFO would be fully responsible for the legals in the contract - in deals of that magnitude I would be stunned if Lawyers didn't write the contract. So how could the CFO get it wrong? Maybe we had to lodge our payment of £6.8m before a certain date - and knowing what interntaional transfers are like maybe he missed the cut off time to chaps the money so the transaction did not clear the spanish account until the following day. Therefore AM calm we did not meet the contract terms. The legal dispute would then arise from us claiming to have transmitted the money before the deadline.

My view the minutes silence was fair enough for the Tunisian massacre, 30 British deaths I think warrants it. If other countries want to remember their own that's down to them. 7/7 had its minutes silence in the aftermath of that tradegy. Any subsequent silences should observed by those who wish to, I don't think it should be imposed unless the organisation was directly affected eg London transport
