For someone who served in the armed forces, you somewhat lack a sense of adventure.

I'm going in a month's time Fly to Cape Town, drive to Sambona game reserve for a couple of nights. Then to Franschoek (wine country) and will be getting the wine tram from estate to estate for a days tasting - apparently it is a foodie mecca as well. Then down to Simons town to see the penguins for a night - drive round cape Hope and then back to Cape Town. There - table mountain, Robben Island, Shark diving and maybe another trip back into wine country - stellenbosch.

Like him or loathe him - 50 goals at that level is worthy of respect especially when you consider that he hasn't exactly had a great England team around him, nor have England progressed particularly far in tournaments. FWIW Bobby Charlton played is what was arguably the best team in the world for almost a decade plus he scored against the San Marinos of the day - we walloped the uSA 10-0 and we did Mexico by 8 on a couple of occasions. Ultimately, and he has said this himself, he won't be considered one of the greats until he has won something. Given that no one has managed to take the shirt from him in over ten years would suggest he is the best we have.
