  3. Fonte was the cause of the first goal - Forster should have never been put in that position - if he hesitated it was probably because he didn't expect Fonte to be such a pillock
  4. I spent £5 to read this bilge.
  5. Christ, how bad are United?

There seems to be a general communication problem and and issue with reading the game. Numerous times Bertrand and pelle were pointing to where they wanted the ball or where they wanted him to go, but he just stands there like a rabbit in te headlights. I am am struggling to see what he adds to the team at the moment.
  8. This - why cant they have a veterans section for online play - My reflexes are just not what they used to be and I don't have the time to burn to practice 3 hours a day - as a result I get my ass handed to me on pretty much every game.
  9. They just need to add a "Y" at the front
  10. France fine you from .05 to .08 - ban there after. The germans give you a 3-6 month ban for .05 to .08. Would be happy to see the reduction in the limit but to get a 1 - 2 year ban for finishing a pint seems a little excessive. This is what I have an issue with - what text can you receive that is so important that it cannot wait for you to pull over or finish your journey. That celeb lawyer who gets people off on loopholes hit the nail on the head - ban people for a year if caught - they would stop overnight. I lifted this from the Times website It found that a driver’s reaction times slowed by 46% when he or she was making a call on a hand-held mobile, by 37% when texting while driving and by 27% during hands-free calls. For those on the drink-drive limit of 80mg of alcohol per 100ml of blood, reaction times were reduced by 13%
  11. I know they all do it, but it strikes me as a very self obsessed thing to do, to send a picture of yourself as a christmas card.
  12. Tiddlywinks Worm Charming Bog snorkeling Cheese rolling
  13. Will definitely rifle through my skiing gear - got all sorts of base layer / merino wool stuff in there that's worn once a year - might actually get some value for money from it
  14. So what I get from this is that it is a marmite game
  15. So not only do they believe they are shareholders, they think they have a right to get involved in player matters - good stuff.
  16. With the SNP potentially becoming Kingmakers - I am beginning to wish the Scots had seized their opportunity to feck off. As an aside, I wonder how their budget looks with the oil price at $70/barrel
  17. Now the temperatures are heading towards 0, anyone got some recommendations for colder weather gear without having to take out a second mortgage. ( Xmas list needs some bulking out)
  18. Got to ask Santa for it - not allowed to buy myself anything until after xmas as apparently I am too difficult to buy for and they need the ideas.
  19. Got to stop travelling - only two rides in November. Blowing like an asthmatic old man after every hill now. Grrr.
  20. The current CGT rules allow for an increase in base cost where money have been spent to improve the asset - so if you spent £50k on an extension that would work - the key is though that it has to be an improvement not a repair ie redecoration / replacing the boiler etc. and to be fair this is where it would get messy With regards to the tax rate - maybe there is a lower rate for primary residences as opposed to full CGT. As an alternative how about the seller pays the stamp duty instead - similar to the above but infinitely easier to collect
  21. Why is it a bad idea, apart from the fact that you have probably made some money on your house. It is not earned income, no one grafted for it, and it is not like you would miss the cash as you never had it in the first place. Certainly a lot more affordable than a buyer trying find £3 or £4 grand when then are trying to buy a house. It would also slow down the house price rises in the middle to upper end as people will have less to spend.
  22. I give Irene this, she has stamina Just how long will the Boruc nosh-off go on for?
  23. Maybe they should dump stamp duty altogether and make gains on primary residences subject to capital gains tax instead.
  24. Try this lot - http://www.enterprisefirst.co.uk/services/ They have an outfit in Millbrook (use to be one of the enterprise agencies) - they give free advice about starting a business. I used to know them years ago, and they would give pretty candid advice covering your idea, finances, marketing etc
  25. That dog don't hunt.
