  1. Went as well. Leceister were massive in compArison to our lads. It was like playing a team of yaya toures. that said, there are some tidy players coming through.
  2. too right , he's not worth £16m anymore
  3. There are good ones and bad ones - unfortunately even if you find a good firm there are still a rotten egg or two in there. The up side of using an agent for contract work is as pap said - you get paid much more regularly than if you had to deal with the clients accounts payable department. But yes, most consultants are interested in getting a fee - not your career. Tips 1 Never give them exclusivity - they dont work with every company so you are limiting your options 2 Ignore their advice about not negotiating salaries and letting them do it - they want control. They will tell you that they are paid based upon what they get for you, but in reality a consultant is likely to see 1-2% of any uplift he gets you so they will be more interested in closing the deal 3 They will ask you about interviews that you have currently having - be careful, they will call that company next and submit their own candidates - they might get some one in ahead of you (and get a fee) and you may then take their job (and get a fee) 4 Dont expect to be called back - saves disappointment 5 They will use fear of loss as a technique to close you - have clear objectives (money, hours, bonus role etc) and refer back to these if you start to feel pressured 6 Ultimately you need to be proactive in your job hunting - call companies yourself, use linked in etc. if you expect someone else to do it for you, unless you are a good match for one of their current roles, your cv will end up in their database collecting virtual dust. 7 Remember who pays the fees - that is where their ultimate loyalty lies I hope that helps
  4. and holds those involved in the day to day running to account so that no one can "go rogue"
  5. Utterly sickening.

    Drink?

Remember - red wine - works wonders apparently
  7. 3 2 1 .... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
  8. I would guess that we agree a fee up front with the club and provided we can sign terms with the player, that is it. The options would be watertight legally, however if would depend on what criteria are input into the deal which would trigger the option.
  9. Some of our fans have real anger management issues.
  10. To be fair to Hypo and Batman, if you read the first pages on the loan deal thread, the majority of posts were "ryan is carp", "board have stitched us" etc
  11. This has just made me smile. What a great way to start the day. Now then, time to get Clyne and Toby sorted and we have a decent long term defence
  12. People who assume that just because they indicated a nanosecond before attempting to move into my lane, I have to give way.
  13. The issue is that giving it away is easy, finding out where or how the government is wasting it, let alone stopping is a damn sight harder. If there was an easy £280 bn to be saved in the current economy, I am pretty sure the current lot would have jumped on that, eliminated the deficit and had some left over to buy the next election.
  14. Ok Disgusting decision. Epitomises the lack of backbone of the board. Its little decisions like this that undermine their credibility in the eyes of the FA, fans and the football world in general. How will they manage to persuade Toby, Ryan and Clyne to sign deals if we are being run by a bunch of spineless chancers. Joke club.
  15. I am just waiting for tomorrow so I can start the summer HCDAJFU / transfer thread
  16. Reed is fast becoming one of my favourite players, busy, committed, tenacious. Superb.
  17. From where I was sat the goal looked pretty unstoppable, not that it matters. The people have spoken, Forster is a c**t and must be treated as such at all times. also I thought the crowd really got on the back of our players in the last twenty minutes, not exactly condusive to spurring them on to win the game.
  18. Are you suggesting that Southampton women are not capable of being ladies? Good luck with that.
  19. I am worried about Turkish. His posts seemed to have had a much more provocative feel to them this weekend. Something must be troubling him.
  20. The Southampton Saints ladies team played St Nicholas on the 25/1/2015, who went then? where the feck is St Nicholas?
  21. to be fair he did draw a big orange wanger on his head
  22. Puts him off his pizza
  23. He is The original turd that won't flush
  24. How about putting them in the zorbs.
