  1. I thought you said this was not a one night stand. Make your mind up!!
  2. makes it doubly important to have a team full of England internationals. At least that way we can guarantee that they get a decent break after the group stages before having to play on Boxing Day
  3. and the Boruc nosh off continues....
  4. If people believe that the word "mong" is a harmless reference to someone being idiotic with no offensive connotations, then they are, in their own phraseology, "mongs".
  5. Please, if we have to sell him, send Morgan abroad.
  6. ...when you pull the front door shut behind you and just as it clicks shut you realise your keys are still on the side. ...when you also realise that your car keys are next to them. ....when you then remember Mrs cb won't be back from London until 7.30. ffs
  7. I think he would have - one thing Koeman strikes me as, is even handed
  8. It is not just about this incident in isolation - it is a wider message to the club as a whole. Ron obviously has certain boundaries that he will not tolerate being pushed and lateness is one of them. There is no point in having those boundaries if you don't have the conviction to back them up - Ron obviously does. Footballers live to play in the big games - taking that away from them is far more effective that a £20k fine. I also believe that stopping players playing football is a theme that runs right through the club to the juniors - mess about and you can watch the next game. If we are willing to drop one of our top players for a massive game then there is no one in the club who is in any doubt what will happen if they don't toe the line - that can only be positive.
  9. The only keeper who would have saved that is one who was woefully out of position in the first place. i am staggered that people can suggest that he could do more/anything at all about what is one of the best strikes we have seen at SMS this season.
  10. apparantly some little kid
  11. Heres hoping he does enough to get a start on Sunday, only to be made a mug out of by mane et al.
  12. Pageant Champion? Remind me not to go to Michigan if that is the best they can rustle up.
  13. Happy to see Lambert again - on the bench Cannot bear the thought of him scoring the winner
  14. Help, I am offended by the fact I agree with Frankie Boyle. (he is still a C*** - offence intended)
  15. You will only get to see him once a season, unless we draw Arsenal at home in one of the cups.
  16. Seriously, who gives a monkeys if he uses the word product or project. I couldn't care less if he started using the words offence and soccerball. He is clearly doing a good job, he has our best interests at heart and he seems passionate about his job - what more do you want? You could have Karl Oyston
  17. Managed to increase my longest ride by 40km today thanks largely to some woeful navigation by my mate. So now I know I can ride 100km. I also know that any 90 year old man can out run me right now.
  18. Debt, tax call it what you will. In the mind of most people it is a sum that needs repaying (albeit once you earn enough) and that usually = debt.
  19. Depends who they are on.
  20. If there is an issue with fees, why not shorten the degree courses. Why do they all have to be three years? My mate daughter is doing less than ten hours a week and has over five months holiday a year. I'm pretty sure that her degree could be done in less than two years. That would cut her debt by £10-£15k at a stroke.
  21. Interestingly I read somewhere that the only real beneficiaries of the fees system was the construction industry as most unis have built shiny new buildings with the money
  22. I would be all for free university education, but only if the places were limited and targeted to skill sets that are important to our economy. You could set up all sort of schemes - free dentistry training provided that the first ten years is nhs only. If you want to do a PPE degree, the fees are doubled to subside the engineers
  23. He has been poor from the waist down. Above that he is alright.
