  1. Don't bet on it. That was just a sop to the Liberals just in case of a hung parliament and Labour need their support.
  2. I have know deals to be done without due dilligence - it usually depends upon the price and complexity of the business being bought or the buyers view of risk. IN this case if I was a buyer iwould be demanding a large discount for the lack of due dilligence. The selling price would be a £1 but with an undertaking to cover the debts. I think that any buyer would be insisting the Gaydamak and Chanrai accept a reduced amount to write off their debts eg 20p in the £ seeing as a buyer would have to cover the existing third party debts and £4-5m per month operating costs.
  3. A or C seem the only option as he wouldn't be able to separate the ground at this stage - the liquidator would take it. Seeing as Chanrai hates football and just wants his £17m back, it's C or bust.

  6. Santorini, Elounda in Crete, Lesvos , Kefalonia was nice as well
  7. Fair point - but they will have to produce a masterclass in stalling and bullsh1t to pull it off
  8. Can't believe they are not dead yet. They are like a ****roach - no matter how hard you batter them, they still hang on in. Is Mark Jacobs really considering an appeal against the takeover which was based upon a document that his firm drew up or is it a massive bum covering exercise because he screwed up?
  9. Can I swap mandel son for george galloway
  10. Tony Blair Cherie Blair Peter Mandelson Robert Kilroy Silk Joey Barton
  11. Hey Stu Just heard on the news that the "thieving workshy students" have used your money to buy mobile phones so they can cheat their exams.
  12. I probably feel more empathy towards the NC camp, but I think that this really is becoming somewhat of a farce now. whoever is right or wrong, it is beginning to undermine NC and Murray is looking more of a prat by the day. Forget it and move on now, guys.
  13. Banks do it all the time. It effectively means that he gets first dibs on everything as the assets are secured.
  14. So why can NC get away with certain actions that RL couldn't? Well one chairman took us into administration the other one took us out. NC is going to get (and deserves IMO) one hell of a honeymoon period for that alone.
  15. That ought to do the trick - just watch NC cave in now and go grovelling to Murray.
  16. For small clubs, perhaps there is some merit paying a bonus to a manger based on the profit that he made from selling players that he signed. If a manager can sign a player for £1m play him for a couple of years and the sell him on for £10m then it is a good job done. However they should also have to pay back an equal percentage of any losses made. WHat is HR's record for players he signed - is he up or down?
  17. Glen Hoddle (alright he was a manager but didn't do so well at spurs)
  18. "Have you seen my new extension?"
  19. If not, reckon it might be confetti time with the contracts. Perhaps they could sell the paper for recycling
  20. Reading the second links, are we to believe that there are even more debts the club are unaware of? Let's hope so.
