  1. Isn't it the same with the union members, trying to preserve their generous perks at the expense of the airline and the passengers. The other thing to consider is that their actions will put at risk the jobs of all of the other employees of BA. As you said - me, me, me
  2. Well, just booked flight to spain and guess what, didn't go BA despite a sh1tload of airmiles that I have. Reason: I can't trust them to turn up.
  3. You are probably right, but I suspect these boys are too intellectually challenged to think of them
  4. Prorata £1.2million a year perhaps.
  5. I am not sure it is the justice system that's wrong here. the squaddies deserve every thing coming their for being so biblically stupid that they risk their careers over such small amounts. Another thought, what if the squaddie had nicked the money with a view of being kicked out to avoid going to Afghanistan. If that is the case and the judge has defferred sentancing to enable him to be deployed, then justice really has been served.
  6. Danny Baker is raising money for sport relief by wearing the shirt of his fiercest football rival. He is encouraging all footie fans to do the same. Could you / would you wear a "fish skin" for a good cause?
  7. One of your examples is somewhat more appealing than the other:drinkers:
  8. I see from the Telegrapf article that Baloo has provided a £15m loan facility to AA. I suppose that this is referred to as administrative costs and will be repaid first. I also noticed that the MNRC is owed £18m of a total of £84M, LESS than 25%. This means that they cannot hold up a CVA without the support of other creditors. Are they going to get shatfed again?
  9. I feel for Storrie, I really do. Imagine having to take a 40% pay cut which leaves you on less that £500k pa. I mean how can anyone be expected to live on such a pittance. He has such a tight grip on the trough that even the Administrator can't get him to let go. 4rsehole
  10. If the HMRC have dropped the administration challenge then it's points deduction time.
  11. dancer
  12. Well the way Liverpool are playing, that's a guarenteed 3 points for Pompey.
  13. That would be a money issue. Bigger stadium = more ticket allocation to the English = more cash for the Andorran FA
  14. Chealsea have a trading facility for Season Ticket Holders. if you cant attend a match you can sell that games ticket less a commission of 10% on their website. Probably only works when the stadium sells out week in week out though
  15. I really hope this is true. It at least gives me something to laugh about if they somehow manage to win the FA Cup.
  16. IF the PL actually advance funds then they have to pray that the 9 points deduction will send Pompey down. If by some miracle they stay up, the relegated clubs will be appointing lawyers pdq
  17. He got caught in Fareham I believe. For desperate double murderer on the run(alledgedly) he didn't get very far.
