and one of those was me, the first goal i squeaked, the second i cheered, the third i sang, the forth i jumped up and shouted. the carlisle fans did not seem to be bothered by me. i saw several saints fans in their end as well especially at the end, they were the ones cheering!
i will be getting a bus to about a mile away from the stadium and walking the rest. the north circular is a nightmare most sunday afternoons, and with the additional 75k people in the area, i expect walking away from the stadium a far quicker alternative to sitting in a large circular carpark
you can buy tickets in the neutral section but at a premium through ticket agencies. £50 tickets going for about £115 incl VAT, £7.50 delivery charge etc. i thought better of it, and bought one for the carlilse section for £27.50 incl del!!!!
tbh, i would like more tickets to be available as i only watch saints 5-10 times a season due to work commitments, i'm like many others are down the pecking order for the final tickets and can't get one until next wednesday assuming there are any left which tbh i'm beginning to think they will have sold out. :smt100
oh well, i'll get my in laws to get one in carlisle as they live there!
why not just buy one direct from Leyon Orient? You might be in with the home fans, but as long as you don't make a fool of yourself, no probs. Well at least i've never had any probs at other ground when in with the home fans:D:D:D
remember that day as though it was yesterday, bunked a day off school to get a ticket from the dell, got harressed by plastic scousers on the tube, found a paint scraper on the terraces on the clock end and almost...almost ended up thumping a scouser...i was very young and inocent
i travel to milan to watch Inter Milan every year, if you want atmosphere, try inter v Juve, manic, pure mayhem, noise, rockets, mortour bombs, pure chaos.....love it
beating bolton in a 5th round replay on a midweek night circa 91. barry horne scored two huge goals near the end to take us through. i ended up about 20yrds futher than i was originally standing after his second goal went in. the milton road was going mental. Got back to my car around 11pm to find one of my tyres had been slashed....and had to be at heathrow airport at 5am as i was travelling to india 6hrs later! fond memories
nice bloke, was in temporary charge of woking and took us down, albeit not his fault. Glad he has been given the chance. there seems to be a link with saints and woking as the dodgy poodle perm glend ****erall was woking's manager for several seasons recently. Shame we have been relegated though!
