  1. saints playing at fulham circa 1977 with my dad as a birthday treat. next game was away at wimbledon in the cup mid week when saints fans made several fires on the away terrace. good times
  2. from my position in the home end, the upper tier of saints fans spent the majority if not whole of the game stood up, with a row of rozzers standing behind the saints fans
  3. I/they had to keep quiet as i spoke to a steward who said they were on strict instructions to throw out any saints fans in the home sections of the ground.
  4. game of two halfs as already stated, 1st half we could have taken on barcelona, 2nd half......basingstoke more like what annoyed me was the 3-4000 empty seats in the ground. My view from from the home terrace highlighted the killing Brentford could have made should they given saints more tickets, and given the opportunity to another few thousand noisy saints fans. only noticed a couple of fellow saints in the home terrace/seating areas, a real shame.COYR
  5. aldershot, because all thir fans also support the skates Luton, because they hate 'everyone', as 'everyone' was involved in the loton riots, not just Millwall
  6. errrr, 25 mins....are you sure, allow at least 1hr travel by bus from kingston to brentford. better off having a beer in Richmond on the river with the crumpet there.....lovely
  7. you can buy tickets from brentford on line. like before, i have never had any bother watching saints away while amongst 'home' fans. the last time i did this, was the JPT final and i was among the carlisle fans, as it was the only way i could get a ticket.
  8. there is already a general sale for brentford fans....
  9. which is why several saints fans have already bought tickets direct from brentford. this could be the game saints get promoted, don't want to miss out do you?
  10. i know it sounds rubbish, but what about a couple of weekly paper rounds, roughly £12 each, a nice little earner each week while taking the dog out for its walk?
  11. see you in there mate, Brentford home end tickets already on sale.........
  12. i got one of those from my dad after that match
  13. 200 euros, phew, i have never paid more than a 100 per ticket from a tout, which gets me into curve norde with the ultras with their fireworks, flares, noise, weed, brew etc.....pure chaos as before, i have never not managed to get into an inter milan game at san siro
  14. the supporters cards just allow the club see who is attending the game, it's like a membership, but you will be able to get tickets for most games by turning up at the ticket office the day before with your passport and details of hotel accomodation etc. for the big games like Inter v Juve i have bought tickets from touts outside the ground during the day and managed to get through two sets of turnstiles by waving my UK passport, even though each ticket has the name of the supporter on, so on several occassions my name has been Lorenzo.......Can't beat the atmosphere, nothing compares in the Uk, FACT. i love it so much that i now own a 12ft FC MILAN flag with CN69 in the corner (one of Inters Ultras groups) along with the saints stickman in the top left hand corner to hang up at Inter's home games when i attend San Siro
  15. i have been to milan to see inter milan pay 5 times, and the curve norde ultra's are superb to the extent that i now have a 12ft CN69 flag with the saints stickman on it for my european trips. ultras is a way of life for many, they live for the club and influence the way the club is run from top to bottom, how else would you get a moped into the stadium? http://www.videolife.tk/video/L_Nu6HKVSmk/The-Holy-Vespa.html cant see it in the uk, the last club to have as many flags, flares, ticker tape etc got lambasted throughout the league, albeit non league, and their fans got chucked out of many away games http://jorvikreds.blogspot.com/ would love it though!
  16. i'm in woking, innit and work in leatherhead, not Leys Road though!
  17. we had a couple of chickens and kept them for a couple of years. bought them at point of lay and we had approx 6 eggs per chicken per week, and they were the best eggs i have ever eaten. they are easy to keep, but as posted before, they will wreck your garden big style! they eat all the slugs, bugs etc in the garden, but will also eat all the greenery too! Kitchen scraps though were their favourite food.
  18. the law has changed mate, the birth parents can now look for a child they gave up for adoption, but it has to go through a charity/agency
  19. carrot and corriander soup is good home made leek and potato is better but truffle oil is the work of the devil
  20. like a few of you, a cigar once a year is always a treat at xmas. still have half a box left over from a holiday to cuba a couple of years ago. Had a cigar though two weeks ago while fishing having caught a personal best weight fish. Tasted sweet on the river bank. wokingsaint

    Sloe Gin

i have made in the last week, 3 bottles of sloe gin and 3 bottles of damson gin. roll on the winter when i can have a glass beside the fire while reading about another saints win
  22. having followed saints for over 30yrs, i am of the opinion that we have become a joke club, from such a high a respected position to a laughing stock.
  23. harsh, RIP mate for saving my club
  24. i'm keeping it old skool
  25. i have been to their ground a couple of times to watch woking. full of west ham wannabee's and brassy birds in snide fur coats. Great place to watch football!
