I can grasp the pointless futility of such a debate and how it has no impact on anything that happens either way and that the internet and such messageboards are for this kind of banter...hence why I'm expressing my opinion and in such an unadulterate retort....you grow up

The timing was wrong, we all agree to this: BUT as Saints fans we've been damaged quite badly by indecisive directors who take an age and waste time in choosing a replacement. Nigel maybe had reached his limit, perhaps so, perhaps not but all this winging and infighting is doing nobody any good whatsoever. Grow up.

This is really starting to wind me up....You don't speak for me and you don't speak for a lot of the fans so how can you represent yourself as a "letter from the fans"? the man's record in Spain is pretty impressive and with the correct funds, which Nicola seems to think we have he has been proven to do very well. The timing was off but let's face it, Nigel as good as he was, probably took us as far as he could go. You don't represent me so please don't put this moronic idea forward again. AND as a lot of people have pointed out he's only "unknown" to lazy journos who've done bugger all research, he's rated incredibly highly in Spain.

I see the in fighting has begun. It IS a FACT, HE guided Markus to buy the club and it was his astute signing of Adkins in the first place so perhaps we should give him a chance and stop moaning.

Half the time I don't understand you lot either. I studied Spanish as a side unit at Uni and can honestly say, word-for-word it's the only interview I understood totally. He's trying his very best with that rubbish translator to slow it down. Also, He's from the same town as Gazziniga (coincidence?) he also signed Jose Fonte's brother Rui so I'm assuming he probably knows him. Also, remember, Cortese is answerable to the Liebherrs and I'm assuming he's probably gotten orders from them considering we are currently I think the 5th highest spending club in Europe. So whilst I agree, Adkins did a top notch job and that this is an odd move, I think some of you have been a tad harsh.

I just heard some knobber of a fan of theirs on TV saying how they'll meet either us or Pompey next season which suggests to me that they are more deluded than our skate friends down the road....Shows a bit of a love-in with Pompey and some unfounded hatred of us. Morons.

Michael Jackson was a bit of a let down....he simply mimed most of it. -
I don't get it, first off they try to say that it's not a definative date on the 15th but at the end of it say "see you on the 15th".

Of course there will be millionaires! PFK, Tricky Trev and the mercinaries they are overpaying!
-
And their fans still have the cheek to mock us for only drawing against Arsenal at home

An Adopt a Meerkat box....Microwave and a box of Vinnie the Panda's Bisqwuits boxset (I say those were the oddest things I got)

I prefer to be generous to people who do their job properly.

Words fail me, they really do....Neil, if you are reading this(and clearly you do) I'll put it into single sentance paragraphs you appear to understand: You are a moron. This is how you robbed the taxman and ended up like this before. Nice game against Chelsea since you are supposed to be an unbiased Aston Villa fan. Now do one.

Whilst it costs a fair bit more, my dentist's is known for having tons of pretty Polish chicks (and that includes the dentist!!)....infact, when I'm asked where I get my teeth done I usually just say "you know, the one with all the fit Polish girls"...most know it.

In the 90's I was diagnosed with Asperger's. Today however the medical profession feel that it's actually a seperate segment of Hydrocephalus often called "Cocktail party syndrome" and to be fair, I agree that you can't really take it too seriously although if we don't want to get into this debate it might be best not to bring it up again.

It's troublesome Smirking_saint; I mean, their right to bare arms is a carry over from the English Bill of rights that state: "Subjects which are Protestants may have Arms for their Defense" and of course a more recent (kinda nearer the 18th century) stated "the right to bare arms within the confines and parameters of the law". I mean, citizens of the colonies, then the free states were always known as excellent shooters and they still take pride in that, but it lends itself to every Tom, **** and Harry having a gun and I think this mindset that whatever was right back in 1776 must be right today and must be adapted like all the other bits like change to slavery, witch hunts, hating the catholics, Jews, and communists....so yeah, it's not just licencing that needs happening and banning of guns wont work, it's a cultural thing that needs to change.

The thing that worried me was that I've also had a sporting knee injury (LCL) from falling over in the same manor in May; it still twinges a bit.

No pressure then

To be fair, I'm usually a big fan of Lineker; but I was rather annoyed ta him quickly doing the usual brushing over of Redcrapp relegating us yesterday so I'm glad he wasn't on MOTD2....we did look pretty superb though, but I think we can all now see why we signed Gaston Rameirez.

I expect all the coventry fans were all in awe at such a huge occasion.

It really just backs up the UKIP arguement; this country is currently being ruled by a bunch of politicians who won't say boo to a goose in case it offends them; we can't close our borders to unrestricted labour from around the continent (nobody was asked if this was ok) and to be fair to Labour, without the minimum wage it'd be worse as just think what kinda wages the companies would be paying these totally legal eastern european migrants? This is why we need a referendum but will we ever get one? (And I support Liebour....simply because I'm not of the class that the Tories have or will ever care about). -
Right-o, who's Paul R-F? own up, who wrote this on the Snooze: "I still can't understand why we don't bring in someone like Pep Guardiola as manager, and sign some proper, world class players like we did before?" lololol

Didn't Souness try to sign him for us many years ago but he was refused a work permit?

Not even the bar chart makes sense; I'm no financial genius but I'm pretty sure expenditure should rise year on year simply because of things like inflation and rent / pay rises? none of it makes sense to me.
