  1. You don't know the example that's ok. Kinda used to ignorant tories. Basically Wilhelm's mother was English...the daughter of Queen Victoria; his father was very liberal and he basically turned on both of them as too soft and left wing and went mental in a nutty nationalistic way like you tories at the minute.....Thought you might know your history but either way, they're basically kapos because, as I pointed out and so did Cummings, this Durham educated ...person...has hopped into bed with the type I suggest.
  2. So Gove basically went and did a kaiser Wilhelm then....sad. Either way, Cummings is in a party that....to quote him....it's on record...hate working class people and oddly enough he's behind an algorithm that totally screws their kids; you can carry on defending him and his ilk but it just makes you look like an a-typical "all lives matter......but who cares about that stupid Sudanese kid" tory.
  3. It's the entitled type but do carry on.
  4. Well, we all know now who they meant when they said "taking back control"....the old school Eton boys who always have.
  5. I've got half a PGCE (I had a number of operations halfway through) and technically I can complete at any time but just to say, I totally agree.
  6. Gavin Williamson does sound like Norman Tebbit in Spitting Image (the irony of him being a former whip shouldn't pass anyone by either)
  7. Seems like a long ball tactic to eventually shout "we don't need no experts!!!".
  8. Was my first thought. He even sounds like the comic book snidey tory arsehole we all imagine.
  9. Personally I know at least one who was tested twice in Dorset as he died from it would be interesting to find out the testing numbers that's for sure.
  10. It's not a very high figure for sure and I'm surprised it's not less as parts of Dorset really are much less populated than say Southampton or P*rtsmouth.
  11. I've only ever done diy to be fair and I don't drive and am happy to stay in cheaper accommodation as long as it's reasonably close to the place you want to see, You usually have to get separate insurance (or be opted into buying the company's one) so I suppose for me those complications don't usually matter but most places are ATOL protected so I recall.
  12. I think we need a targeted schools approach for that one....
  13. Absolutely. And charging you a fortune in commission for the pleasure.
  14. Not sure about Beattie and Austin; I know someone who's sister went out with him and said he was an absolute twat, ok, but on the field he was, at times very talented so I think that'd rule him out. Similar to Austin. The rest? Yeah certainly....definitely Four-past. I remember him in Jaks....what an absolutely arsehole.
  15. Probably more to do with the interview where he suggested he could see himself retiring at Southampton. Although I take your point about Lallana and even Lovren being actually very good....Lovren just thought he was better than he actually was.
  16. I suppose we signed him as a kid but Lallana has to be up there.....maybe the world's greatest defender(tm) Lovren too.
  17. We'd be third if it was only this part of the season. That's an incredible turnaround.
  18. That's the main reason the polls are pulling away at the moment.....people are getting the freebies off the government they accused Labour of offering. As you say, let's wait until those in the red wall realise the people they marched against for so long don't actually give two figs about them anyway.
  19. It's about time his followers realised the enemy isn't the Labour party too.
  20. To be fair, most of the squad did. McCarthy didn't.
  21. Pretty much. I'd keep an eye on Dominic Raab though. As far as Corbyn goes, perhaps he should have stuck to what he believed in (however much I disagree with it) and gone full brexiteer, we all know he is/was one...would probably have saved a bit of the red wall.
  22. To be fair, that's what we thought of May wasn't it? "they couldn't possibly dig up anyone as moronic as her" - turns out we were wrong.
  23. It's that last line that does it for me.
  24. Yeah, that's what I got for having a dodgy connection. I only heard him talking about Shilton being great; I didn't hear the Mills reference or I'd have known he was specifically talking about Ipswich. Mustoe is signed to NBC but he's not on their commentators line up so where I got that I'm not sure.
  25. Ah, I see now!....Walking down George Street in Sydney I saw loads. Saw a couple down Queen street in Auckland too. Thanks for clearing that one up.
