  1. His government has no other point. He ran it on the lie about "getting Brexit done", okay, so he proved that Goebbels was right that if you continually repeat a lie so many times the populous will believe it but it was always going to come to the point when people ask "right....what now?"...He's got no answers for that as he's a one-trick pony.
  2. Probably would have been better off with Hunt....might have to soon if they continue to hurt the blonde Billy Bunter's feelings.
  3. Is attempting to belittle other people all you have as far as an argument goes? As for being a political lightweight....had a bit of a look at the current PM and his cabinet? All clearly selected as lightweights compared to him...no doubt all picked by Cummings. * Also, the Rayner comment was paraphrasing the head of the 1922 committee, clearly Tory HQ fear her more than you do.
  4. Didn't think you were, since she's his deputy I just assumed you were including her. And Lord Duckie, that rules out Johnson then doesn't it?
  5. You can call it whataboutery all you like and he may have been very good at structuring an argument in the commons....but did he succeed in returning the Tories back to government? Nup. He was a snide little tory boy who half the Conservative party couldn't stand also. Only marginally better than Michael Howard.
  6. Probably wouldn't call his deputy, Angela Rayner a loon. It was widely reported that she was the MP most conservative worry about....what with her northern, working class background.
  7. People probably were aware Blair was a QC not a failed reporter and well....William Hague (really? you're comparing the former solicitor general and one of our country's top barrister's to William "Tory boy" Hague....Lord Carrington's view of him was quite similar to a lot of people's opinion of Boris). That's clearly why Moggy wants the commons to return asap though.
  8. Exactly, I think Makro is probably the best comparison; it's essentiallly wholesale quantities, cheaper prices in bulk.
  9. Sadly, we....our government do that over here though don't they?....I mean, they're not so blatantly racist but they certainly don't like tough questions.
  10. Still suspect that was the original plan. He's not great at questions is he?
  11. Problem with that speech...as happens with a lot of leaders I suppose, is that it's clear Boris was being pulled by his war hawks (the Redwoods, the 1922 committee.....the ones that got him into office) and the rest of his party so that's why we've ended up with that mess of a speech.
  12. Yep, he's a lovely bloke but nope. I can see exactly what Cat up there means but a top XI shouldn't really include Van Djik either.
  13. Reasonable. I think the media itself probably contributes; I mean, I'm not sure a lot of people old enough to have even seen Le Tiss play in his prime would have that much of a clue apart from watching clips of him.
  14. That was insane....I like how they clearly had distance markers, but none looked like they were more than about half a metre.
  15. Has anyone been watching these polls that the saints twitter account has been posting for a best eleven saints players? It's just infuriating for me as, for example, for each position they pick 5 players and 1 gets the slot.....one had Alan Ball square off against Le Tissier.....what's that all about? Crazy. Or the latest striker one: Channon, Davies, Shearer or Lambert....it just seems those responding haven't followed saints for more than 5 years.
  16. That speech n'arf sound like a lot of it was made up on the fly "unlimited time outdoors for everyone"? That's not a recipe for insanely packed parks is it? "if you can't work from home you should go to work"? So people will feel forced to go into work even if they can't socially distance....and what about retail staff? Such a load of waffle. I was expecting him to pull out the wookie defence.
  17. Because Polls have been absolutely reliable over the last few years haven't they?
  18. Interesting to read that the Trump family fortune started from the insurance payout Trump's grandmother got for his grandfather dying of the Spanish flu.
  19. If you close your eyes when he's talking, he sounds an awful lot like Gordon Ramsay though!
  20. That's potentially a serious donation right there!
  21. He doesn't need anyone else insulting him; he does a good enough job of looking like an idiot himself. and as for Lord Duckhunter there, yeah, except I'm not prime minister now am I? Great performance from him today by the way....flim flamming as usual. And as for the BS "you lost, get over it" line.....so when's the economic explosion of good will and amazing trade happening then? Also, in 1997, Labour won 418 seats compared to the Tories 165...this result is only similar to Blair's LAST election result. Political blindness or what.
  22. "I even shook someone's hand yesterday, living life on the edge, right?" Not quite. I'm just suggesting it sounds a bit like Boris's "I've shaken many coronavirus people's hands" line.
  23. Kinda paraphrasing. Obviously Boris did say that but it just reminded me of that.
  24. To be fair, you make some good points there, like ethnic minorities and the old, COVID-19 does seem to like those out of shape. My reason is a small vein (slit ventricles) in the brain chronic neurosurgical issue and I'm definitely not overweight....quite the opposite actually. I hear there's a fair bit of evidence supporting the spread from Italian fans at Anfield though, so I think it's probably wiser to avoid massive crowds at the minute.
  25. I seem to recall him standing down once and then returning to stick the knife in again.
