I hope your 'number of different sources' aren't some blokes down the pub.
-
I'd get her wetter than Roy Hattersley's chin given half the chance.
-
Cheers Dalek - at least I know the ignore function is working on the new forum now.
-
I occasionally get info from the head steward as well. I have never put it up for discussion as he has always been wrong.

I couldn't give a toss about Burley's drinking habits. Some of the greatest managers were/are ****heads - Clough and Ferguson to name two. What I do care about is his baffling team selections, his inexplicable treatment of Skacel and Rasiak, and his selection of the crap Leon Best for the play-offs. He gave me the impression that a never gave a sh*t about us.

I think the supposed interest from Reading for Surman is a load of ********. It's just a smokescreen to cushion the blow of losing Davies. 'Oh well, not too bad. We're keeping Surman'. We are being run by a pair of weasels.
-
Personally, I can see through back-tracking and PR bullsh*t. Especially after what he said yesterday. Face facts, he is just a yes man for Lowe.
-
Lots of assumptions there. I go along with the theory that he is a non-entity.
-
No thanks - would rather keep Davies. Just read this on the Ugly Inside http://www.clubfanzine.com/southampton/v2.showNews.php?id=13369 great article - well done Nick.

I wonder who'll be first to create a takeover thread?
Wade Garrett replied to trousers's topic in The Saints
This is getting tiresome and boring after 16 months. We are just being teased - we were with Paul Allen(by Derby fans), Arabs(by that pillock who sells photocopiers), and now Fulthorpe(by Merrington). I'm not interested in titbits, or gossip from Merrington. I'm interested in facts - no bid situation, an arrogant chairman who would sell his gran for a fiver, and dwindling attendances because a fair few supporters are sick and tired of the club. More supporters will jump off the train before it crashes. Where does that leave us? -
Can people use the ignore function, rather than bore the tits off me by slagging off 'armchair alpine'. Cheers.

Keegan's disallowed overhead kick. Channon's goal against Liverpool. Too many MLT moments to remember. Lad pushing Vinny Jones as he was about to take a throw in, then 'offering him outside'. He was kicked out by the stewards and then cheered by everyone when they let him back in. Think that was the game when Matty scored the flicked up volley at the end. Port Vale fans throwing cups of **** down on us - nice. Shilton - genius of a keeper.
-
I wouldn't support another club either. What's your point?
-
No, I don't suggest that. The club seems to be taking our support for granted - everyone has their breaking point and I have very real fears about the future of the club.
-
How do you know? 2 games zero points.
-
In other words, we just put up with any amount of ****e and just get on with it. Forgive me if I don't agree with you.
-
I admire your optimism derry. I hope you're not disappointed.
-
I hope I'm wrong, but I don't see our team is young and dynamic. I see it as inexperienced and lacking in depth and quality. Admittedly I have only seen them play once, and I hope I'm wrong, but I can't see as getting anything from this game. I think it's going to be a tough season. Hopefully the decent young prospects we have won't be scarred by the experience.
-
Any chance that all the takeover speculation could be banned. We are either being played for fools (why?), or the deal just ain't gonna happen, it's gone on for too long.
-
A bit over the top about the team. They were average against Stoke. OK they tried hard, but they were still average. Don't get sucked in by all the PR. It would be fair to judge the team after the first 5 games.

Hackneys should get some priveleges for the money they have to pay for their red plate. However, they obviously may need to raise their game. This fella from WestQuay cars sounds very insincere. He's probably a freemason who has been given the nod from his lodge mates from ABP to have a go. In my experience, WestQuay give a crap service anyway. I always have to give them directions, which they can just about understand. I'd rather go in a taxi with a driver in flip flops who knows where he's going as opposed to a smartly dressed one who doesn't have a clue.
-
It's time they put up or shut up to be honest. Also the stock exchange seems unmoved by all this, the share price hasn't moved. I remain firmly in the sceptical camp.
-
F*cked if I know. Let's be honest, who knows if any of it is true.
-
The only things we would be likely to lose are Rupert Lowe and a lot of debt. Bit of a no brainer really.
