  1. Shares now being traded at 22p. Puts value of the club at just over £6 million.
  2. Or prices come down accordingly.
  3. Never rub another mans rhubarb.
  4. In one of the papers today, it says he is going to double his wages to £8k a week. Can't see us in for him.
  5. High scoring game. 4-7.
  6. If I was a woman my hand would never be out of my knickers.
  7. Personally, I think Mr Fulthorpe and Dave Merrington should keep their mouths shut about any possible takeover until an offer is on the table. Raising people's hopes by giving it the Bertie Big Bollo*cks is out of order.
  8. We should all do our bit to kickstart the economy. Get down the pub to get the country working again.
  9. Exactly what I'm saying. The 'free' market does not work. It's all very well Gordon Brown saying this in his speech last week, but he should have done more to stop it from happening in the first place. This goes beyong politics though. The Tories would have done little to regulate City practices as they have wet dreams about the 'free' market. Building an economy on unrealistic house price rises is foolish. Forgive me if I don't feel sympathy for people who tried to cash in on the housing market by buying to let. All they did was fuel the housing market and make it nigh on impossible for anyone to get their first foot on the ladder. Forgive me if I don't feel sympathy for the City bankers who have trousered a fortune with their irresponsible trading, but may now lose their jobs (I'd prosecute them for fraud). I do feel sympathy for the average working man/woman. It is us who will pay for all of this. Higher taxes, worse public services, greater job insecurity. Thanks a lot you greedy bastards.
  10. Not post privatisation it ain't.
  11. Not even if I upgrade to large fries.
  12. You cannot have a 'free-market' that is unregulated and allowed to act at will. The consequences are there for all to see.
  13. .......I'm going out on the razzle tomorrow night.
  14. Some Republican is voting against the injection of money into the banking system because he 'believes totally in the free market'. Is that the same 'free market' that is now crippling the western world. What a right-wing tw*t.
  15. Apparently he is an expert at developing brownfield sites.
  16. Great win. I don't want Saints to lose, I do want Lowe and Wilde out. Nick, the two aren't tied to each other.
  17. I wonder if they are looked upon as a better investment than us. True they can enjoy Premiership income. But they're wage bill is crippling and they play on a Wessex League ground.
  18. You can only beat what's in front of you, and three points away from home is a good return in anyone's book.
  19. I think the key to scoring a goal is scoring more goals than Doncaster. Do that and I'm sure we'll pick up the three points.
  20. Bit unfair on Holmes. He put a number of decent balls in to the near post, but for some reason McGoldrick doesn't make that run.
  21. Perhaps not.
  22. Lots of perhaps in there. Perhaps Lowe is clueless. Perhaps Lowe thinks we need another centre-forward.
  23. He's a winger. We haven't got many, less now Holmes is injured. He needs a run in the side. He would be better on the right than BWP or McGoldrick. He needs JP to be as patient with him as he has with Gillet, McGoldrick and James. If he isn't rated at the club why did they give him a new contract?
  24. This is an appalling decision. Then again, so are most of the boardroom decisions made by Lowe and Wilde. I honestly think that if Rupert Lowe ate babies, some on here would still defend him. Maybe justify his actions by saying the poulation is too high etc etc. Just admit, he's no good.
  25. Quality. I've heard they've got the fonejacker in to raise funds. Hellooooooo.
