  1. I wish you would all stop being so negative. After all, we did well to keep it down to 4 -1.
  2. If that's true I have even less respect for them.
  3. Ashley made it quite clear in a number of interviews to the media that Keegan would have the final say on any players going in or out of the club. Ashley then signed a few players without Keegans approval and put the first team squad on the transfer list during the transfer window. So your theory about their situation is wrong. You should give Kev a bit more credit. That said, I would welcome Ashley and his strategy to our club. Unfortunately, there is more chance of me playing for England.
  4. What is different about now that suggests they may be lucky?
  5. Lowe and Wilde still at the club. I am pleased we won though.
  6. How do you know we can't.
  7. The way you twist your arguments to suit your politics is pathetic. The Tories have presided over just as many economic crisis. Remember Ted Heath's 3 day week, remember Norman Lamont's Black Monday, remember Thatcher freeing the market of regulations that would have prevented what we are going through now. Selective memory to try and suit your politics. You need to be a little bit more objective.
  8. She's got a hole liked a ripped out fireplace.
  9. 'I want to **** your best mate for Christmas' would set the alarm bells ringing for me.
  10. Shares now being traded at 22p. Puts value of the club at just over £6 million.
  11. Or prices come down accordingly.
  12. Never rub another mans rhubarb.
  13. In one of the papers today, it says he is going to double his wages to £8k a week. Can't see us in for him.
  14. High scoring game. 4-7.
  15. If I was a woman my hand would never be out of my knickers.
  16. Personally, I think Mr Fulthorpe and Dave Merrington should keep their mouths shut about any possible takeover until an offer is on the table. Raising people's hopes by giving it the Bertie Big Bollo*cks is out of order.
  17. We should all do our bit to kickstart the economy. Get down the pub to get the country working again.
  18. Exactly what I'm saying. The 'free' market does not work. It's all very well Gordon Brown saying this in his speech last week, but he should have done more to stop it from happening in the first place. This goes beyong politics though. The Tories would have done little to regulate City practices as they have wet dreams about the 'free' market. Building an economy on unrealistic house price rises is foolish. Forgive me if I don't feel sympathy for people who tried to cash in on the housing market by buying to let. All they did was fuel the housing market and make it nigh on impossible for anyone to get their first foot on the ladder. Forgive me if I don't feel sympathy for the City bankers who have trousered a fortune with their irresponsible trading, but may now lose their jobs (I'd prosecute them for fraud). I do feel sympathy for the average working man/woman. It is us who will pay for all of this. Higher taxes, worse public services, greater job insecurity. Thanks a lot you greedy bastards.
  19. Not post privatisation it ain't.
  20. Not even if I upgrade to large fries.
  21. You cannot have a 'free-market' that is unregulated and allowed to act at will. The consequences are there for all to see.
  22. .......I'm going out on the razzle tomorrow night.
  23. Some Republican is voting against the injection of money into the banking system because he 'believes totally in the free market'. Is that the same 'free market' that is now crippling the western world. What a right-wing tw*t.
  24. Apparently he is an expert at developing brownfield sites.
  25. Great win. I don't want Saints to lose, I do want Lowe and Wilde out. Nick, the two aren't tied to each other.
