Was that the TO 55ER one?

We seem to be going one step back for two steps back.

Absolute horsesh*t. As I said before, Crouch had already agreed a deal with Barclays for budgets this season. Why they would feel more at ease with Rupert, just because of how he talks, rather than Crouch, a businessman who has made a lot more money than Lowe, I just don't know. Crouch didn't step down because Barclays went cap in hand to Lowe. He went because he was ousted by Lowe and Wilde.
-
Can't you see that Rupert's methods, personality and appointments are the reason we aren't fighting for promotion and playing some good football? Leon Crouch has made more money than Lowe in the business world, and from a standing start. Yet there are a few out there who think Lowe a better businessman. Crouch had sorted Barclays out for this season. If he was still in charge we would still have Pearson as manager, and although I accept cuts would still have had to be made, I am convinced attendances would be more than 15k - 17k we are getting now. The full house for the Sheffield United game, and the feelgood factor from that game was something to build on for this season. Between them, Lowe and Wilde have destroyed that. For the good of the club they need to go.
-
His arrogance knows no bounds. The only chance the club has is if Lowe cuts his ties with the club completely. I don't even want him Chair of the PLC. I don't particularly rate him as a businessman.
-
Billy Davies wouldn't work for Lowe in a month of Sundays.
-
I wonder what all the people who were championing Lowe, JP, and playing kids are thinking now?
-
I don't know about toughest, certainly the unfriendliest club.
-
After some careful consideration I'd go for Hayley Cropper and Rusty Lee.
-
I think that was probably the case back in the day. But then again, if you were happy with how the club was being run back then, I don't suppose you would know who the board were. These days there are a few chairman who like to be high profile. There are a few who think they know more about the game than their many managers. These are the ones who polarise opinion, and 'die by the sword' when things go tits up.

Is it gay to spray water up your ass?
Wade Garrett replied to Master Bates's topic in The Muppet Show
It's only gay if you try and stick the shower-head up your bottom, in a sort of Chris Pea****-electric toothbrush sort of way. -
Excellent. The pitch will be ruined even more than usual. American football is like Rugby for nancy boys.

Teh weekend thread sponsored by soap on a rope

Enjoy, f*ckface. -
Where is the politics you muppet? Use the money to improve the team and the shareholders would all benefit in the long run. But that would require the mind of a true entrepreneur, not a bean counter like Lowe. We know where Lowe's priorities are, himself and his cronies. Certainly not the team or the fans. You have your head too far up Rupert's arse to be objective.
-
Step aside in his day to day running of the club is what I meant. He is divisive, and is holding the club back just by being there.
-
Lowe would rather pay dividends to shareholders, or use the clubs money for share buybacks, than have a successful side. If Lowe was that bothered about the club and his own investment, he would step aside. He would if he was being honest with himself anyway.

If the senior officials are bullsh*tting (which is undoubtedly the case), then name and shame them. Why not?

Macgregor 685 irons, Macgregor Tour Driver, Macgregor Mactec 3 and 7 woods, Vokey 60 degree wedge, Odyssey 56 degree wedge, Odyssey two ball putter (might get rid of it soon though). Handicap 9.7.
-
Yet your handicap has gone up by 2 shots. Go back to the Titleists.

I played football with Geoff many years ago. He's a real decent bloke who has raised a fair bit for his charity. Very worthwhile cause.
-
The man is in denial. Attendances are down because people dislike him and Lowe, or are not buying into the youngsters experiment, or the credit crunch. Think the credit crunch accounts for less of the absent fans than the other two though.
-
But it will be once it gets hi-jacked.

Buy low, sell high. I still don't understand the end part of Trading Places.
